Location: Intersection of 19th Street and Park Lane. In front of the new laundry mat
Michael: Tow Truck Driver for Cen-Tec
Complains: From the moment Michael arrived to help us with the car, we already knew it was going to be bad customer experience.
-Michael’s music coming off his tow truck was loud. So loud even with the doors closed it could be heard across the street. (It was country music. Come on, you suppose to be professional. Keep it DOWN!!! )
-Michael lighted up a cigarette while he was jumpstarting the car. (I guess his company allows him to smoke while helping customers on the road)
-Michael arrived with an attitude from the moment he arrived. We requested the jumpstart for the car but he declined since he said battery was dead and it something else. We argue to have it jumpstarted it. So he did. Few moments later the car died. When we asked him to tow the car since it was not drivable, he replied with a smart [redacted] answer saying “wasn’t that what I wanted to do from the beginning??” (I wondered for a second… where was the good customer service? All we wanted was finding a solution and see it they car would start and be drivable without been towed.)
-Michael brought his dog with him. (Is Cen-Tec allowing employees to bring their dog while doing road assistance? What if you need a ride to your home and you don’t like dogs? Or what if your afraid of dogs? Your dealing with customers please leave your dog at home!!!)
-When we arrived to the place were the car was been tow to, he wanted to charge us $50 for the jumpstart. We called Allstate Car Insurance; they paid for the $50.00. (He did not specify at any time about $50 fee for jumpstart until he towed the car home and decided to tell us about it after)
WORST experience ever!!! The attitude and the rudeness while speaking to us was far from what we expected yesterday night. Car broke down and the waiting was enough for us to go home and called a day but rather you have a smart [redacted] tow guy name Michael coming and instead of helping and making the process easy, he was bringing hell to us. We are disappointed about the service Michael provided to us. Not professional at all. The only professional thing I saw was the company logo on his truck door, other than that it was just horrible. If your getting paid to do the job, please do it but in a way that we as customers wont notice. I hope there is consequence to follow regarding his professionalism. These situations cannot be tolerated by any customers who is paying for the service. In my part I will never use Cen-Tec Tow Truck and I will reply my story to others to be aware.
