Mr. [redacted] , I am sorry for your frustration and appreciate your attempts to give Centegra your Secondary Insurer information. In fact, we did have that information and had been attempting to collect payment from your Secondary Insurer. Unfortunately it was the Secondary Insurer who had not released the payment to Centegra, apparently due to additional information that they needed from the patient or policy holder. That being said, we have confirmed with them that they have released the payment on 8/18/2016 and it will take approximately 30 days for us to receive the payment. I personally will be checking your account around that 30 day time period to assure that we have received payment and that any overpayment will be returned. Please know that the BBB complaint portal does not keep these complaints open that long so I will reach out to via telephone at that time to inform you of the status. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly with any additional questions or concerns. Mr***, Thank you for expressing your concern and apologize for any frustration that Centegra may have caused. I am actively looking into this situation and at this time I have discovered that while your Secondary insurance provider has "processed" the payment, it did not
"release" the check to Centegra until 8/18/after multiple attempts by Centegra to receive this payment. Your secondary insurance provider informed Centegra that it will take approximately days for us to receive the check after it has been released. I am rejecting this response because:I have attempted to have the two party's (Insurance-Centegra) on several occasions..On 6-28-16 I spoke to Crystal at Centegra accounts asking to contact my secondary insurance to speed communications.  No effect, except letters demanding payment from Centegra. Then on 7-25-16 I spoke to Anna about this, again giving my secondary contact insurance information and claim numbers. Once more no contact from Centegra. Then 8-11-16 a letter from Kate Rife asking for payment...ONCE AGAIN I gave my secondary insurance contact information, claim numbers, account numbers to Centegra to facilitate communication.There were multiple other short call/inquiry's on my part to check status at Centegra that I did not record, as they were just status checks, but I am sure Centegras record keeping of calls will verify this.   So for several months I have been in contact with Centegra giving contact information for insurance and claim/adjustment numbers, to facilitate communication. After this many attempts on my part, getting multiple workers each time, with no results.....why should I believe this one?
