My wife and I had a total of 5 implants all at the same period. I hope our experience with this clinic can provide valuable guidance to other patients.
1st: Make sure your cost statement is in writing because it can prove beneficial later when you compare what you paid for and the payments made by your insurance. I had to get the insurance to help me what I thought to be an over payment: in the end after several emails, I was able to get refunded by this clinic for such. To quote my insurance "a participating dentist shall not make any charge to an eligible patient before or after treatment is provided other than the amount payable by the patient under the terms of the applicable dental care contract."
2nd: We felt disrespected: every time my wife and I had an appointment ... we had to wait for 30 minutes to one hour before we get the attention. We are seniors and been to several dentist besides our regular dentist for a variety of reasons and do not remember any such delay longer than 30 minutes like what happened repeatedly with this clinic.
3rd: I was subjected to pain when the receptionist, yes, the receptionist, took the impressions of my teeth ... she noticed my pain and then offered medication afterward which I desperately needed.. I thought that was it. . . I was in pain again when the assistant, I don't think she is a doctor, was placing one of the implants a few days later. I had to ask her to give me the pain medication. I told Dr. [redacted] of the pain I experienced and made them aware to do local anesthesia when doing this procedure . . . I thought they should know better.
Bottom line: we want to give a lesser than zero rating if we can.
