on the day Bob charged my battery, he indicated to me that 'oh there must be a short in the dome light'. I told him fine. Could he KEEP the car and fix the wipers and also figure out where the short is. he said abruptly, 'I dont have the part'.  I got less than a mile down the road, to trader joes, rang him, first time no answer, 2nd time ringing, the phone was answered, and yet nobody was there. I was worried for my safety and well being. if the car died yet again, who knows where, I could be at risk. I trusted Bob. I paid him well to fix and help me get my car in shape. If he did not want to help me anymore, he did not tell me that.

I would like compensation for the electrical problem that I now have to have another mechanic fix. since this is a problem not yet solved, I do not have a monetary figure to request.

Hi [redacted]This a summary of the work done on the car.9/11/15 We performed a  tune up and replaced valve cover...

gaskets and repaired ABS system. About 900.00 this bill11/06/15 We serviced all the fluids in transmission , brake system, and differential. About 900.00 for this billAll these items except for the ABS repair are all overdue or poorly done maintainence items on the car.11/20/15 The car was brought by to check why the battery had to be jumped, We tested the battery and charging system and checked for a drain on th .while she waited .Nothing was found to be wrong.We charged up the battery and she took the car , she never asked to leave it or anything of the sort. I DID NOT CHARGE HER for checking it out. I see no reason that she could  relate a battery problem with the other repairs , after 2 weeks time had gone by and a battery problem was never an issue anytime before this date.I told her that something was left on or maybe there could be a intermittent drain on the battery, but no test showed that . I am here to help people with their car problems The car is their responsibility not mine . I can only repair problems that are really there. I feel that she would be in touch with you again already if she really had a problem with the car and since that does not seemed to have happened .I think she  should remove the complaint and apologize to me for accusing me of wrong doing. That probably will not happen as people seem to be embarrassed   to admit their mistakes.I feel that this is the end of this complaint .As I will not work on her car again even if she asked, as trust is a two way street .       Good Bye
