Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. The matter was resolved when we received a communication from the customer and removed her from our email list as she requested.
We value our customers' goodwill and place a high value on...

pleasing them and serving their needs with the highest quality CPE Training.We apologize to this customer for the delay in removing her from our list and any inconvenience it may have caused her.However, as far as we can tell from our records, this delay was caused in large part due to the fact that the customer did not use the usual industry approved standard email opt out procedure that we include with all of our outgoing marketing emails,
The language reads as follows:If you would prefer to receive no further news via email on important career-enhancing conferences, Seminars or webcasts for financial professionals or savings opportunities, please let us know your preference here.
As you suggested, we did investigate this matter and our IT Manager could find rid evidence that the customer used this system or that there was a system malfunction.
Instead the customer replied to the marketing email she received. (Her reply included a copy of the marketing email she received from us including the opt-out language and working link.)
While we monitor these reply-to emails, it is a non-standard and much less efficient system because it is largely set up to automatically handle email bounce backs and automated out-of-office replies.
We do have a customer Service representative periodically check this system and that is how this request was flagged and forwarded to our IT department.
However, as an added measure to avoid this type of rare situation and delay in the future, we will be putting additional language in our emails to the effect:
"Please do not reply to this email as it will be forwarded to a computer automated mailbox that is minimally monitored, Instead to ensure that you get the quick, efficient and personal service that we are dedicated to providing to all our customers, please give us a call at ###-###-####. Or use our secure Customer Service Contact Form on our website at: [redacted]I believe this good faith effort will resolve this matter and that this extra measure will help make sure we avoid similar situations in the future as we continually strive to provide our customers with the best service possible.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter. Also let us know if you post our response on your website and, if so, where we can see it. Thank you for your time and consideration.
