I'm writing in reference to complaint ID #: ***. Thank you for writing and letting us know of the concerns of our customer, *** ***, regarding one of our franchised L&L Hawaiian Barbecue restaurants in *** ***, CAWe deeply regret her experience with the Adobo Fried
Rice with side order of Macaroni Salad. We have investigated her concerns with the franchisee at that location and no other complaints were brought to their attention regarding the menu item. However, the franchisee is willing to give her a full refund for her dinner in the amount of $6.97. Please let me know what are the next steps to resolve this matter. Should we contact the customer directly? Although L & L Franchise licenses its brand to each independently owned and operated restaurant location,* we will assist in resolving this matter with the customer. We have sternly communicated Ms***'s concerns and emphasize food quality. What you observed at that location certainly does not meet our standards. We will also address this in person with our franchisee at the next scheduled inspection that occurs 2-times per year at each location.
