This is in response to your letter dated April 1, 2017. The above mentioned patient was seen on 2/19/16. The services were billed to [redacted] which applied $173.43 to her deductible. She was sent statements for this amount due on 3/9/16, 4/6/16. The patient was then seen on 2/26/16 and...

3/25/16 for antepartum visits which would have been part of a Global Ob charge. The patient then transferred her care to another physician on 4/26/16. These 2 visits were then billed out separately to her insurance on 5/13/16. [redacted] processed the claims and we received payment on 7/5/16. Additional statements were sent to the patient on 5/4/16, 6/2/16, 7/7/16, 8/10/16, 9/8/16, and 10/11/16 with no response from the patient. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The Center for Women's Health did NOT send me ANY statements and my Health Insurance provider denied their claim because of their failure to submit claims in a timely fashion. The Center for Women's health then sent my bills to collections rather than contacting myself or my health insurance provider. This caused damage to my credit report. They are responsible for the payment because they did not abide by their contract with [redacted] Insurance Company.
