Centerline Wheels Reviews (5)

Late product delivery and broken promises seem to be a trend wherever I look at reviews for Centerline Wheels I ordered a set of 15" X 6" Auto Drag III wheels, X 4.5" bolt pattern, in satin I was originally told it could take up to four weeks to manufacture and ship them, but it took five weeks I called several times to check on the progress of the wheels, and was always told they would be ready mid to late the following week, but that didn't happen Furthermore, the wheels required "acorn" (conical seat) type lug nuts, but this wasn't mentioned anywhere on their web site I didn't know this and had to get a set of longer wheel studs for my 'Ford Changing the wheels studs out was a PITA, if I had known I might have reconsidered the Auto Drag IIIs Finally, although their web site said customer service was available until 7:AM -PM on weekdays and AM to PM on Saturday, the customer service department closed earlier than that on weekdays and wasn't open at all on Saturdays Overall, failure to deliver the product on time as promised, broken promises from customer service reps, inadequate information on the web site, and operation hours on the web site It's obvious that customer service isn't a priority for Centerline I won't be buying directly from Centerline again

It's the same song and dance with every review about Centerline WheelsThey sell you a set of wheelsTell you to weeksweeks later its gonna be another weekAnother week passesThen the story is the front half of the wheels are done, their still making the back half and call back in a weekI call back and speak to a different salesmanThis one tells me that the backs are made and their waiting to make the frontsThese clowns can't even get their lies straightI asked to cancel my order and for a refundIts now on day 3, still no refundTheir not only liars, their thief'sThey wasted weeks of my time and still haven't refunded my $I advise everyone to shop elsewhereDon't waste you time with a company the promises everything and delivers a mouthful of liesShame on Centerline WheelsI'm betting this company will fail do to its business practicesNow I'm off to the bank to dispute the transactionI know that's the only way I'll ever get my money back from these people

I went online and found wheels I liked however they needed to be special ordered. On the website it says 2-3 week delivery no problem. So I called and talked to a salesman we figured out the correct size and he informed me they were custom special order and would take 3-4 weeks I said no problem and ordered the wheels. This was May 2, 2016.

So fast forward 3 weeks I called to check on the status they informed me they had started on the wheels and would be done in a week or two. No probelm. I called back again about a week and a half later was told to call back that they were behind because of the Easter holiday but they would ship by the end of the week. I said ok no problem. Another week goes by I call back the wheels were in polishing and would be shipped next day or two. Ok at that point I had to change my shipping address because I was moving and they probably wouldn't ship to old address in time. A couple days go by no shipping info so I call back. Told to call back the next day the wheels were still in polishing.

I called back this time I am told only 2 tires are in polishing and were being boxed they hadn't making the other 2 it would be another week or two. I expressed I was irritated and had been calling to get info not be pacified by lies. He appologized said nothing he could do and he would put the remaining two wheels on priority and ahoukd get them out by end of week or beginning of next. So I called back last week was told 3 were boxed they were just waiting on the 4th and would ship next couple days. I call back last Friday and was told it was in polishing and should ship that afternoon or Monday. I called Monday and now only 2 are boxed and the other two are in polishing but will be boxed and shipped that afternoon.

I called the next day and was told after calling 3 times and told to call back that the remaining two wheels still needed the backs done to give them a few days. I told them they had until Friday or I wanted my money back as they have made endless promises, lied to me several times and I do not trust them. I called Wednesday and Thursday and told to give them a few days. Friday morning I called and was told maybe Monday the two wheels were not done still. I told them I wanted all my money back. He said he would do it when he could get to it. I have called my cc company to get all my money back as all this company has done is lie to me. I do not trust them especially the sales manager I delt with Louis S[redacted].

Late product delivery and broken promises seem to be a trend wherever I look at reviews for Centerline Wheels.

I ordered a set of 15" X 6" Auto Drag III wheels, 5 X 4.5" bolt pattern, in satin. I was originally told it could take up to four weeks to manufacture and ship them, but it took five weeks. I called several times to check on the progress of the wheels, and was always told they would be ready mid to late the following week, but that didn't happen.

Furthermore, the wheels required "acorn" (conical seat) type lug nuts, but this wasn't mentioned anywhere on their web site. I didn't know this and had to get a set of longer wheel studs for my '62 Ford. Changing the wheels studs out was a PITA, if I had known I might have reconsidered the Auto Drag IIIs.

Finally, although their web site said customer service was available until 7:30 AM -6 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, the customer service department closed earlier than that on weekdays and wasn't open at all on Saturdays.

Overall, failure to deliver the product on time as promised, broken promises from customer service reps, inadequate information on the web site, and false operation hours on the web site. It's obvious that customer service isn't a priority for Centerline.

I won't be buying directly from Centerline again.

Upon unpacking I notice that each one weighs 5 pounds
more then the advertised weight.
Centerline's claim to fame is the weight of their product.
Its impossible to chose wheels based upon systemic
misleading information.
The most unsettiling thing is the repeated
claim that the wheel I ordered is a two piece wheel.
The site plainly states one piece.
no chrome option was available...
this I believe. But why should I.
The ads here are not to be trusted...
Funny thing... my first choice on this site were a set of wheels
that weigh 5 pounds more.
I purchased Light truck rims on the 22nd of Oct 2014.
It is now nearly Mar 2015. I do not have a complete set of wheels.
