Centerville Animal Hospital

In June, I set up an appointment with Centerville Animal Hospital for my veterinarian to see my cat. She had been coughing and there was congestion in her lungs. Due to Covid-19 I was not allowed to go inside during the examination. The vet comes out to my vehicle and says she could not hear any congestion and for me to set up another appointment to have x-rays done because she did not have time to do them then. (Why not that was my appointment time and she should have made time to take x-rays.) I later called the office and spoke with the office manager letting her know I should not be charged an additional examination fee because I had already paid for an examination. I knew and the vet knew all that needed to be done was x-rays. She did not say I would not be charged again. On July 6, 2020 I took my cat back in at the appointed time. X-rays were taken and the vet comes out to my vehicle and says there is either fluid or a mass on her lungs and she wanted to send the x-rays to a radiologist for consultation. I asked her how long it would take and she said usually there is a one day turn around. For three weeks I would call to see if the results had come back. All I was told was there was a back up. I asked the office staff to have Dr. Bradley to call me. I never received a call from her. July 26, 2020 I could tell my cats breathing was labored. I had to take her to an emergency clinic. The vet said she believed she had a collapsed lung and there was so much congestion in her lungs that she could not even hear her heart beat. There was nothing that could be done, so I had to make the decision to have her euthanized. If the vet had taken the x-rays in June my cat may still be here.
