In 2006, my wife and I took possession of a house near Bragg Creek built in 1981. Over the last 8 years my wife and I decided to replace all the windows in our house along with other renovations a little at a time. When we started, the company we chose was Supreme Windows but today, it is called Centra Windows. During early 2023, we chose to complete this project by replacing the last two large pane windows and two doors (one of which was a double door. An advisor/consultant came to the home in June 2023 and the work was initiated 18 Sept and completed 19 Sept. The workmanship was excellent and the workers very courteous, very professional, and were willing to take the time to answer any questions that arose from us. We were both very satisfied with the work and quality of the replacement doors and windows (vinyl framed) in which all the glass was triple glaze. These workers always cleaned up everything. My wife and I give Centra Windows a 5 star rating from consultant/estimator to finished installed doors and windows as well as the those two professionals that installed them. I believe that they did such a good job that I probably won't we calling back for their services again for a long time. We also found the cost to be reasonable since we did it step by step.

Did not hire them as I live in a rental unit. New windows and a door installed. The bottom lock on the front room door didn't lock as it never lined up. The installers said it was a factory problem. The next day after chasing down one of the installers they drilled holes. Mentioned this to the building manager initially stated he wasn't happy with the workmanship. Also the screen door wasn't closing properly - they said they would fix the following Tues. (after holiday weekend). Met the same installer who said he would fix the screen - said he had to find a screwdriver. Waited all Tues. - never showed. Spoke to bldg. Manager - said they would be at my place @ noon. No one came. Spoke to workman in hallway asked what time they would arrive. His answer was he was busy. Asked what time they would arrive at my place? His answer: I don't know. At 12:20 pm bang on my door and 4 installers arrived at my door. The installer who I had just spoke to in the hallway started to get angry with me. I stated I was investigating Centra and said I was "threatening him" by saying investigating. He mentioned to the other installers - " to go for lunch" and he will be contacting my building manager. I've never "threatened" anyone in my life! They refused to come back to my apartment and my building manager fixed the screen door by asking the installers. Asked my building manager how long the installers will be here - could drag on for months. Also the spray they used was very disturbing and almost a week later can still smell. Heavy white residue was left on my furniture - toxic?

I bought Windows from Centra for my whole house except for 2 that I couldn't afford at the time being a single father, So about a month ago I asked them for a quote on the last 2 windows and the guy took forever to get back to me in fact I had to call him, They quoted me $1,100 + tax , I called Vanisle windows just to see what they would quote me and I was surprised they were $500 cheaper, so I called Centra and the rep told me that that's the best they can do because I'm not getting them to install the windows, So I called their head office and some lady from Customer care came on the phone and after I told her the story she basically told me the same thing, I told her thanks for nothing, Approx. 5 minutes later I got a rude text from the original rep that I was dealing with Telling me Not to be rude to his coworker, Witch I was not.. Anyways long story short I used to recommend Centra to everyone I Knew, Well that's coming to a end, I told the rep that if it was $100-$200 difference I would stay with them but he wanted nothing to do with it because I was installing the windows myself. SAD...

I had Centra Windows replace all my condo windows including the sliding patio door. The windows are nice but I'm having a problem with the caulking around the windows pulling away from the wall. The caulking was done poorly in a couple of areas and fixed up right after installation.

Now 5 months later the caulking is failing again. I called the company and was told I'd receive a call from the service team within two days. Call didn't come. I called again a few days ago and still waiting for a service tech(?) to call. I've fixed the caulking again and will not recommend this company to anyone due to the poor follow up service.
