Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Stinelli Bros continues to lie about the situationThe Fri they came to pack I asked them to laydown protection and they had not brought it on the truckThey had forgotten itI never said that they had to work without shoes They never came back ever again to even try and packThey pretty much lied about everything in their previous two statementsThey're one of the worst and most unprofessional companies I've ever worked with and I've moved several timesI have already talked to the parent company that has resolved the problem for me as best they canAs I said before Stinelli Bros Moving & Storage is relying on the rep of Arpin Regards, [redacted]

This is a copy of the complaint below we were sent Good Day, Stinelli’ has not responded to my emails or calls.  Today a truck from the national company Arpin arrived to load my things but no packers from Stinelli showed up to finish packing. We had to cancel the truck and...

reschedule. This continues to put us behind, and will force more missed work days. There were no notes or messages on file from Stinelli to Arpin regarding this move or anything. Arpin was surprised by this and apologetic that their local agent has been so unprofessional. At this point, I have no idea how much this move will cost as I am doing all the packing.  Someone needs to give me a new quote. I want to be be fully reimbursed for the boxes Stinelli charged me for as less than fair compensation for missed work days.  Thank you,[redacted]_________________________________________________[redacted]Company answer to [redacted] We first meet Dr. [redacted] for a survey on October 6, 2015 and gave her a free estimate for a move to Idaho with full packing included. She wanted to discuss ways to get a lower price and asked us to come out again on October 17, 2015 and offer another estimate. We told her that there are 2 ways to lower the cost. Take less items and do some or all the packing herself. She decided to cut back on some items to take and she stated that she will pack as much as she can to lower the cost. We sometimes have used cartons available on a limited basis and offered free of cost to deliver what we had available to help her with the carton cost. We made 2 free used box deliveries to her on October 21, 2015 and October 29, 2015.We agreed that she would not get it all done so we scheduled 2 men to pack the remaining items on November 6, 2015 for a signed contract date for loading on Monday November, 9th. Both days of November 6 and 9, she asked our men to take their shoes off. We stated for insurance reasons and workplace safety rules that we are required  to wear proper footwear. We would, however, put down floor and carpet runners for protection. She refused and sent both work crews away each day. Each day the crews were experienced packers with over 25 years of reputable work performance. We discussed on Friday November, 6 after the men got back to the office on how she would like to proceed. We offered her a chance to find another mover and would not charge for any of the services we performed and let her out of the contract. She took some time to think about it and called us back during lunch and stated she would do all the packing herself. We had no used boxes left so she agreed to buy 200 cartons, 100 lbs of packing paper and 18 rolls of tape at a discounted price of $ 915.00 from us. We delivered them 1 hour later. We expected to load it the following Monday November 9, however she wasn’t done, the crew offered to help finish the packing if she wanted but she sent them away. She did the packing herself but they did not finish until Wednesday, 2 days after the schedule loading date. The driver and his crew had 2 extra days of overnight expenses that we did not charge her for. She clearly has misstated that we did not show up or respond to her calls or emails. How could she pay for boxes and supplies, take delivery of the items,  if we weren’t there or not returning calls or emails. We made 7 trips to her house, at no additional cost, except for the $ 915.00 of new supplies after she sent our men away. The job has been loaded and is in route to Idaho but she is still having some issues that we are still trying to resolve. Please call or email with any questions or concerns that we can help assist in helping with this complaint. Thanks Renee S[redacted]Customer ServiceStinelli Bros Moving & Storage, Inc.North Huntingdon PA  15642###-###-#### / Fax: ###-###-####Email:  [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Stinelli Bros continues to lie about the situation. The Fri they came to pack I asked them to laydown protection and they had not brought it on the truck. They had forgotten it. I never said that they had to work without shoes.  They never came back ever again to even try and pack. They pretty much lied about everything in their previous two statements. They're one of the worst and most unprofessional companies I've ever worked with and I've moved several times. I have already talked to the parent company that has resolved the problem for me as best they can. As I said before Stinelli Bros Moving & Storage is relying on the rep of Arpin.

Attn: [redacted] This is our second response to two different statements that we received from the customer. Revdex.com emailed the first and the second was by regular mail. The first stated that we did not return any emails or calls and the second states and I quote “I have been in contact with Rick at the office many times”…My original answer did state that we have been in contact throughout this process. We feel the problem originates with the customer being upset that we would not pack and load her items with our shoes off. It is a safety issue but she required it and sent us away on two occasions. We stated that we use carpet and floor protection but she demanded no shoes. We told her we will not work without shoes per company policy . Not sure if she just wanted to push the move back 2 days because she did not pack her house in time for the move as she promised and wanted to lower the cost. However, the fact of the matter is we showed up with full professional work crews on 2 consecutive work days and she sent us home each time. So, we offered her an opportunity to find another company and let her out of the signed contract at no cost and she took 5 full days and still could not find any one to do the job at our price and/ or without shoes during packing and loading. She did allow us to finally load her items on Wednesday, 11/11 and we delivered her 11/20 per her request. We made 8 free trips (40 miles and turnpike tolls) to her residence giving her free used cartons and supplies. We have a signed contract for moving  from her for $ 13,001.30.She ended up paying $ 10,134.72, close to $ 3000.00 lower than expected. It is obvious that we bent over backwards to satisfy this customer on numerous occasion but nothing seemed good enough. We have been in the moving business for 36 years and this is the first Revdex.com complaint that we ever had to answer. Please call or email if you need anything else.  Renee S[redacted]Customer ServiceStinelli Bros Moving & Storage, Inc.North Huntingdon PA  15642###-###-#### / Fax: ###-###-####Email:  [redacted]Website:  [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response that the company provides is factually incorrect. When they arrive on Friday, November 6 they did not bring any shoe cover protection nor did they bring anything to lay down on the carpets. Rick their supervisor on the phone excused this stating that it wasn't raining at the time they arrived.  The second excuse was that the truck there that day was a "packing" truck not a moving truck and it's not normal for a packing truck to have shoe protection. I asked Rick to bring me boxes later that day so that I could do the packing myself as they had wasted time having to return to the parent company and get shoe protection. When they brought me boxes one third of them of the boxes were soaking wet and they had to return again to provide me with dry boxes. At that point I had no faith in their ability to do the packing and protect my things.  The agreement was I would pack with the boxes provided and they would return to pick up the unused boxes. As of yesterday they were refusing to come and pick up the unused boxes without further charging me for this service. That was not the original agreement on Nov 6. On November 9 the driver arrived with his own Packers as the driver did not "trust" Stinelli's to assist him. These packers were only for packing the truck. No one from Stinelli ever arrived to continue packing the items within the house. It is a frank lie that they sent anyone to pack the house on Nov 9th leaving us to  finish the job ourselves and further delay the move. It  must be distinguished Stinelli is an agent for Arpin and did not incur any costs regarding the delay, but instead cost us and the parent company by not completing what they have been contracted to do and that is to participate in at least two thirds of the packing. They did zero.   The driver and his Packers are employed by our Arpin, not Stinelli, he  suggested and we agreed for him to come later and finish the move. A again it was the drivers preference not ours that we finish the packing as he did not trust Stinelli's to complete the job.  Stinelli was also to deliver a crate for my television of which they also did not deliver. When we finally had a chance to talk with him later on Nov 9 we told them we didn't need it anymore. The driver for Arpin stated that not only did he not trust Stinelli but there are several drivers who do not trust them give poor past perfomance. Arpin has been helpful and professional. Stinelli rests on the reputation of Arpin but do not meet the reputation. They cost us time and money and make excuses and tell frank lies to cover up their mistakes.
