Hes posted all over craigslist and facebook saying his engines are jdm stamped and imported from japan with low miles no more than 60,000. Review: I found Central Coast Importers online when looking for a crankshaft for my 1993 Honda Civic. Contacted an employee "M**" for CCI and inquired about the parts I was in need of. He informed me that they had the part and would shup it out to me as soon as I paid for it. I week passed and I never received a tracking number for my purchase. I called M** to ask about my purchase, he informed me that they did not have my part. I requested a refund and they stopped answering my phone calls and emails. I left several messages and wrote constant emails. Two weeks later still no refund and my car still inoperable because they're still holding my funds.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund promptly and and apology. I would like a refund ASAP.

Review: 1/30/14 I bought an engine from central coast importers. they sold me the engine for 1200. 750 for engine and 450 for installation. they told me they'd give me a b18b which is a Japanese engine, and that's what I payed for. they also gave me the opportunity to do payments, however the treaty for the payments was to pay him by the end of next month. so basically one month to pay him off. when paying him the first payment of 500 dollars he told me they wouldn't charge me tax. so I took in the car to replace my old engine the next week. he told me he had the engine ready and he was ready to put the new engine inside the car. he took 3 days installing it. I was really happy with the new engine that night. the next day after I got my car back I went to a mechanic , I showed him my new engine and told me they ripped me off. they installed a b18b1 which is an american engine not Japanese. next day after seeing the mechanic I went to talk to the central coast importers and he got upset telling me " why are you talking behind my back" upset. then tried lying about the engine being Japanese. after that day I went to Honda dealership, asked few mechanics, and did my research and I realized he was lying to me, everyone told me it was american. same day I went to talk to him with a mechanic as a reference to talk to him about the engine not being Japanese and he continued lying and besides that he kicked the mechanic I brought over for reference out of the shop. I honestly don't know where the engine is from and where he got it. all I know is that its usdm not jdm and that jdm are worth more than usdm. he lied about the engine history and where it was from and also gave me an engine I didn't pay for, trying to rip me off. lying it was Japanese when its not,he was unprofessional by the way he screamed and treated me and the mechanic I brought over for reference. I really cant trust him, and i'm guessing hes lied to others not just me. I seriously don't know what to do .I just don't want to deal with them.Desired Settlement: I Want a B18B engine jdm that I originally asked for and not something that I didn't ask for, also have original receipts to engine, and replace engine at no cost considering that I have already given him 950 dollars, and the lied to me about the product he was selling me. I also want him to pay for someone of my choice to install the engine since he was not honest to me since the beginning.
