Regarding: Ashden S*The statement that MsAshden S*** made pertaining to the resident manager
would not call the electric company to get the electric out of a previous tenant’s name put electric in MsS***’s nameFor the record, the on site manager does not have the authority to make those kinds of arrangements with the electric companyPer the electric company’s rules only the tenant can put electric in their name as it is a matter of credit checks run by the electric company to be able to receive their service.MsS*** went to another apartment complex to ask for her payment back and was asked if she had her copy of the receipt for payments madeShe said she would return with the receipt but never came back or called back.Just to let you know that I tried to reach MsAshden S*** using the daytime phone number that was provided in the letter you sent to my officeShe refused to talk to me, was very rude and said I should have done my job sooner.I tried to talk to her about getting a refund but she said “see you in court”I do not know anything about any court action that MsS*** may have taken.I believe she was a victim of the person who was running the apartment complex during the time period she lived there which according to our records was less than one month. We have no lease copy for MsS***Leases are written in the on site manager’s office.Since I could not get more information from her to determine if in fact she was a victim of the manager’s theft I was not able to resolve her complaintWe do have a criminal case pending against the manager for theftMs S*** claims a pet deposit was paid and we received nothing from the manager as a pet depositAlso, the amount she claims to have paid for a security deposit was not the amount received in this office from the on-site managerI tried to find out if MsS*** has receipts for her payments but she refused to speak to me just saying “see you in court”.This property no longer takes cash as payment for any reason whatsoever and has taken every step possible to recover from the devastation that occurred while the on site manager was handling all the cash payments for rental agreements and all documentation for leasing.Sincerely,Owner’s OfficeVillage on the Green Apts
