I received a collection notice from this company, addressed to my maiden name, from a company (Qucik Fix appliance) that I have never done business withWhen I google the company online it says they are located in Ontario and I live in AlbertaI am not sure that is even the correct companyThe balance that they say I owe is $I called the company(central credit control) to tell them this is incorrect and she said I needed to contact Quick Fix but could not provide me with an number/ address/ invoice to contact themI also asked that the phone calls from their company, actually hang ups, I have received at approx7:a.mon janand Febto stop immediatelyShe would provide me with no further informationI informed her if I receive futher correspondence or calls I will be preceding with legal action

*** ***I made a payment plan with CCC yesterday, but today I got my income tax refund so I wanted to pay them today in full but when I called the woman on the phone instantly got annoyed with me saying why am I calling because she already gave me the information and that I was told to just call with the reference number (when we made the payment plan)I didn't even get to tell her that I needed to know the full balance owing including interest so I could pay in fullI was so confused and shocked that she was actually mad that I was calling, like I'm wasting her precious time with my phone callSo I hung up and sent them an e-mail explaining this situation and I intend on only having communications with them through email so I can document everythingI was trying to resolve the issue and the least they could do is treat me with some respector maybe even (call me crazy) with KINDNESS*** *** ***

I made payment for the amount owing and I have been asking them for a conformation email or letter, it's simpleI called their office many times and they keep saying you will get an email sometimes todayAnd it has been three daysCostumer service don't have proper training, they hung up on me every single time I calledBeing told to stop calling them and " you will get email when we have time"

I have payed them off and they will not give me a release letter stating that it has been settledThey will only give me a receipt with a stamp..something the military and other employers im talking with will not accept ***
I have been to there office twice for this and both times they refused to give me a release letter stating that it is not there policy...but I know this is a standard occurring in there field and should not be difficult it should have been mailed to me once I payed them off with out specifically requesting one

*** went into contract with Central Credit Control Ltd to collect a past due balance on a delinquent accountAfter contacting the debtor on our behalf, Central Credit Control Ltd received a unfounded reply emails with no supporting documentation from the debtor in which stated versus from the construction liens act and threatened Central Credit Control Ltd with unlawful collection and suggested Central Credit Control Ltd would be in breach of the Collection & Debt Services ActAlso, the debtor would contact the Ministry Of Government Services- Consumers Protection Ontario & Canadian Society Of Collection Agencies to place a compliantAgain, just to reinforce, this with a unfounded reply email from the debtor with no supporting documentation, Central Credit Control Ltd immediately dropped our fileWe received an email from the President *** *** which stated in a few words, Central Credit Control Ltd felt it was best for small claims courtTh

I received a bill for over two thousand dollars for something that was paid, and never should have even been put into their hands. I worked for a daycare and had my children in there with me. I had to leave abruptly she billed me but it was paid in full the entire time and never was as issue. I then like six months later get a bill from this company stating that I owed them 2034.xx which was NO where near what was owed in the first place so the amount was off as well. I called the place where I used to work and they were just as confused as me for getting a collections letter and I got them to call. I expect this not to affect my credit as I shouldn't have ever been sent to them in the first place. I will update when that information becomes available. I have been in contact, but it doesn't seem like I am a top priority as their responses are quite scarce.
