Review: Central Credit Services sent me a collection letter in violation of law, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809.

On 1/21/2015 I received a collection letter from [redacted]. regarding an [redacted] account demanding payment of $2060.87 On 02/03/2015 my attorney sent and faxed them, [redacted]. a letter demanding they "VALIDATE" the debt under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809. [redacted]. failed and or refused to "VALIDATE" the debt in the time allowed by Federal Law. On 03/15/2015 my attorney sent and faxed [redacted]. a letter telling them because they did not "VALIDATE" the debt in the time allowed by law the debt was now "uncountable" and there inability to validate this debt requires them to end all collection attempts and remove this debt from my credit reports and they are barred by law from selling or transferring this account for the purpose of continuing collection.

On 9/52015 I received a letter from, the NJ office of Central Credit Services Demanding payment of the same debt in violation of law! The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809,Desired Settlement: I want Central Credit Services to send me a letter telling me they, Central Credit Services is stopping all collection attempts and they will not sell or transfer this account for any purpose including continuing collection. And they will make all Corrections to my credit report (s),

Central Credit Services LLC (CCS) acknowledges receipt of the above-referenced complaint that was submitted to the Revdex.com Serving Western Pennsylvania on September 5,2015 and understands Mr. [redacted] has complained that CCS has violated the law by collecting upon an account that was previously collected upon by [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] states that he disputed this account with [redacted] and requested validation information; however, [redacted] failed to provide the requested validation and instead sold the account to CCS. Having researched this matter, please consider the following:On August 24, 2015, [redacted] placed Mr. [redacted]' account with CCS for collection with a $2,060.87 balance. CCS does not own Mr. [redacted]' account, nor does CCS have any affiliation with [redacted]. CCS is a third party collection agency acting on behalf of the creditor, [redacted]. CCS has no control over any collection activity performed by [redacted] and has no knowledge as to whether Mr. [redacted] disputed this account with [redacted].[redacted] placed this account with CCS with full warranty that the account is due and owing. The account was not placed with CCS as a disputed account. Records reflect that on September 10, 2015, CCS received a call from Mr. [redacted]' attorney who disputed the account. CCS immediately marked the account as disputed and ceased collection activity.CCS has requested validation information from [redacted] and will provide to Mr. [redacted]' attorney upon receipt.
