I received your letter with Mr*** complaint and there are two sides to a storyThere was a misunderstanding between our salesman and Mr***He called on a Thursday and said he needed an excavator for the weekend and no one had one availableOurs was at our location in Jerome and the
salesman did not understand he needed a ditch cleaning and ours has a fixed thumb which he said he told Mr *** and there would be an extra charge to have this 50,000lb machine brought down from JeromeMr *** called on Friday night and told me he was disappointed that the machine didn’t have the correct bucket and a hydraulic thumb but was going to use itHe called again late Saturday afternoon and said the machine had quit runningI had a tech go to his location on Sunday morning to get the unit running. I understand his frustration and would have been willing to work with him on the bill but he called our office and threatened the office girls and then came to the office with verbal and physical threats, not a good way to settle a disputeIt cost us more to transport the machine and a service callthan his bill was and in hindsight we should not have rented the unit to Mr *** without knowing his equipment needs since it was a bad situation for both parties. *** ***Central Equipment Co.###-###-####
