I've actually purchased two vehicles from Deal Time. Both vehicles have been great, with the exception of a couple small issues. Cars are mechanical and wear. I understand that no used vehicle will be in perfect condition, and I have no quarrels with the quality of vehicles that I have purchased from Deal Time.

However, when making a service appointment, you expect your vehicle to be diagnosed within a reasonable amount of time. 24-48 hours is more than acceptable. My last service appointment took 5 business days to complete for a job that required 4 hours of labor. Additionally, I had to call three times in order to "motivate" the repair.

The last repair, which was for an air conditioner service, was an absolute nightmare. I made an appointment for Wednesday morning. My vehicle sat all day without being serviced until 5pm, when I drove by on my way to the bank. I called to check-in on the repair, only to be told by Anthony that he had taken a half-day and wasn't aware that the vehicle was there. (That is why we made an appointment.) Ten minutes later, when I left the bank, the vehicle had been moved into the service bay. When I raised the issue of excuses and the disregard for service appointments, Anthony said that he would take care of the repair, that it was usually around $100.

The following day I arrived to pick up the vehicle and was presented with an invoice for $100. I told Anthony that I wouldn't pay it. He stated the night previous that he would take care of the repair. He stated that he never said that. When I called him a liar, he then said that he did state that, but only if it was the mechanics fault. After I called him a liar, he called me a liar and that's when the gloves came off.

Anthony's method of handling this issue was extremely unprofessional. He should have never stated that he would "take care of the repair" if he didn't have the authorization to do so. Liz did step in and offer a concession, cutting the repair bill in half, which was appreciated, but too little, too late.

I would advise anyone to strongly consider the inconveniences of dealing with the service department before making the decision to buy.

I would also like to state that my frustrations were emailed to Michael S[redacted], owner of Deal Time. I wanted the opportunity to resolve this professionally via a quick phone call. However, I received no response.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to express how satisfied and happy I am with
the level of service I have received from both sales and
service department at your Longwood dealership.
From day 1 that I walked in I was
treated very professional with dignity and respect.
I realize that my credit has flaws and sometimes people
with bad credit have to "settle" for what they get.
Not here. I was treated better at your dealership than
a new dealership ever could. I was looking to buy a new
car and had an approval from a secondary lender however I
was treated very poorly at the new dealership due to them
being aware that I had credit issues. I walked right out
of that dealership and told them to keep the 22,000 dollar
approval. I then drove by and saw a truck I was interested
in and later called about it. Jeff has taken excellent
care of me both with the sale and service of my vehicle.
I appreciate your dealership. It is a nice feeling to
know that credit isn't everything and that people still
can treat people with dignity and respect as I have been
treated by your dealership. Kudos to Jeff and the whole
team at your longwood branch. I didn't have everyones
name at that dealership but they all deserve an award.
For providing excellent service to your customers.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.

They are a bunch of crooks. I had a 2006 Ford Focus for 3 days, then the motor blew. They told me since I didn't pull over quick enough when I heard the engine knocking, I had to pay half the cost for a used engine with 99,000 miles, almost $900. I supposedly had a limited warranty on the engine and transmission, which they did not honor. They are a bunch of cars flippers and they have no decency or morals. Buy a car at your own risk, do not trust their "limited warranty".
