Central Florida Toyota Reviews (3)

In our attempt to purchase a older used Camry from Central Florida Toyota, Sam Souryal led us to believe that -- since we are not anywhere close to the dealership -- that if we would find a local auto repair shop to inspect that vehicle, he would arrange for someone ("runner" or "shag guy") to take it there for an inspection After waiting and wasting days, finding a suitable shop a mere miles down the road directly from the dealership, Sam refused to return callsHe knew that we needed this car ASAP for a kid moving to Florida to go to schoolBut days after starting the process, Sam finally responded with an email stating, "I'm sorry we are not going to be able to take the car to the inspection." At most dealerships, a mile drive to a shop to let someone look it over is a no-brainer and a simple accommodation to a customer unable to do this task At most dealerships, one manager's promises are honored by anotherAnd his excuse was that, despite being a manager at the store, his "used car manager" would not allow him to arrange to send the car to that shop, about minutes awayIf this assumption was not clear from the started, I would not have waste time looking for a qualified shop, nor would my customer or I made multiple calls to the dealer, most of which towards the end were not replied toThe man who needed this car for his son and asked for my help was profoundly disappointed, and will attest to the number of times he left messages for Sam to wrap up the process early in the week, which was not turned upside down by Sam until the end of the week I'm happy to share my email from Sam with anyone, as well as any additional notes I have from this total waste of time, and the abuse of our trustSam did seem to be an upfront, friendly and accommodating man I could trustI even told him that at the start because I could compare my initial phone experience with him with other dealers I've dealt with before talking to him But in the end, I was deceivedSam's appearance to me of integrity and trustworthiness ended up being a hollow shell of promises, with nothing of substance, and evidently no authority to insist on keeping promises made as a managerVERY DISAPPOINTED

By far, the absolute worst customer experience ever! Please do not ever take your vehicle to this location for service. I purchased a 2016 Toyota Rav-4 in February 2016. The liftgate motor stopped working in March 2016, and because this part is under warranty, I was able to get a replacement. The first visit took the service department 5 hours of me waiting in the lobby, in order for them to diagnose the problem and tell me that they needed to order a part which would take two weeks. Fine. I wait two weeks, take my car back to the dealership to have them install it, and behold! The ies ordered the wrong part. They assured me they would order the correct part this time, but I would have to wait another two weeks. Fine. Another two weeks go by and I take my car yet again to the dealership, and guess what? This time, they needed to order additional parts to go with the motor that needed replacement. A total of four weeks have gone by, and the liftgate on my brand new Rav-4 is still not working. Spare yourself the time wasted at this place, and take it to a REAL Toyota dealership like [redacted]

In our attempt to purchase a older used Camry from Central Florida Toyota, Sam Souryal led us to believe that -- since we are not anywhere close to the dealership -- that if we would find a local auto repair shop to inspect that vehicle, he would arrange for someone ("runner" or "shag guy") to take it there for an inspection. After waiting and wasting days, finding a suitable shop a mere 3 miles down the road directly from the dealership, Sam refused to return calls. He knew that we needed this car ASAP for a kid moving to Florida to go to school. But days after starting the process, Sam finally responded with an email stating, "I'm sorry we are not going to be able to take the car to the inspection." At most dealerships, a 3 mile drive to a shop to let someone look it over is a no-brainer and a simple accommodation to a customer unable to do this task. At most dealerships, one manager's promises are honored by another. And his excuse was that, despite being a manager at the store, his "used car manager" would not allow him to arrange to send the car to that shop, about 6 minutes away. If this assumption was not clear from the started, I would not have waste time looking for a qualified shop, nor would my customer or I made multiple calls to the dealer, most of which towards the end were not replied to. The man who needed this car for his son and asked for my help was profoundly disappointed, and will attest to the number of times he left messages for Sam to wrap up the process early in the week, which was not turned upside down by Sam until the end of the week. I'm happy to share my email from Sam with anyone, as well as any additional notes I have from this total waste of time, and the abuse of our trust. Sam did seem to be an upfront, friendly and accommodating man I could trust. I even told him that at the start because I could compare my initial phone experience with him with other dealers I've dealt with before talking to him. But in the end, I was deceived. Sam's appearance to me of integrity and trustworthiness ended up being a hollow shell of promises, with nothing of substance, and evidently no authority to insist on keeping promises made as a manager. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
