Review: Central Jersey Pools closed my pool last fall. On March 12, 2015, I contacted them when I noticed the section of the pool by the skimmer had caved down (like an accordion).The skimmer had not been covered during closing and water which turned to ice appeared to weigh down the skimmer and cause it to buckle.I followed up my phone call with photos of the damage done.Received a call from Mike, &requested someone come and take a look the the damage. Advised that he would look into the matter. Spoke to Mike again in April when I did not hear back & he again advised he would look into the matter. Did not receive a return call. In May I again called Mike and left a message and received no call back. On June 2, 2015, I sent another email to Kathy from CJP and advised her that I had not received any response. On June 5, 2015, I received a call from Steven. I again explained my issue and my frustration. Steven informed me that he would send somone out to look at the pool and would take responsibility for the damage if it was caused by them. Steven stated if it could be repaired or replaced, they would "do right by me." Was told someone would be out that week. Again no response. On June 15, 2015, I contacted Steven again. Steven called me back &stated he had left a message, (I checked there was no voice mail on my home or personal phone). Steven advised he spoke with some pool manufacturers and through his conversations with them, he determined he was not responsible for the damage. I questioned how he could come to that solution without even coming to look at the pool which I requested his company do in March. Steven advised that his company does not install above ground pools and therefore he was not at fault, even though they service them. Was told he would send one of the people he spoke with to come out and look at the pool to tell me he wasn't responsible, I considered this a joke of a practice. CJP determined over the phone they are not responsible.Desired Settlement: If the pool can not be repaired, I would like it replaced.

It is very easy to see the cause of the damage was from the weight accumulation from the skimmer not being closed off properly so that water did not get into the skimmer area.

I am not sure how this company can come out to service my pool but when there is damage caused to the pool, they can't take the time to come and look at the damage. I am only told they aren't responsible from just talking to me on the phone.

I spent over a $1,000 to have the liner replaced last year and purchased a new winter cover for over $300 which was used at closing and now the pool is completely damaged. I keep a sump pump on the pool and drain the water off frequently throughout the winter so added weight is not placed on the pool.
