cost. We waived our 20% cancellation fee and refunded the difference of her deposit of $1,100.00 and consider her project closed.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.They say they are working to get an [redacted] engineer here to "verify" the installation of the door in question. In fact it was me who contacted [redacted] and requested help with this matter but that is the way with this company in trying to twist everything that happens to make it sound like they are trying when they have not. Yes we would welcome an engineer or anyone else in a position of authority with [redacted] Windows and Doors to come and see what this company has done with and to their quality products but there will be no "verification" of the installation of this door. The only resolution we will accept as far as this door goes is for them to obtain a new door, that they have not mishandled and messed up, and then to get that new door installed correctly the first time. This company has screwed up the handling of this whole job from the word go and, although I am sure we shouldn't have, we have agreed to accept most of what they did even though there were many things wrong. They have had ample opportunity to install this door properly and they have failed in each and every attempt. They have had ample opportunity to repair the problems they caused through improper handling and failed installation attempts and they have failed at that also. I am a firm believer in cooperation and compromise but I have been pushed to my limits on this door and I will not bend any further. Bottom line: New door and proper installation or they will get no more money from us.
