arial, sans-serif;">Date: Mon, Dec 22, at 8:AMSubject: RE: *** *** *** Complaint ***To: *** *** Good morning ***,This response is in regards to *** *** *** Complaint ***.Offenbacher's installed a *** *** *** unit on 12-27-for customer.Customer contacted Offenbacher's on 10-30-stating: "Recently my wife and I both a fireplace at the Rockville store and been installed in December last YearWe started using it in February truth the rest of the winter it was working find and last week I used it a couple of time now when I turn it on the pilot comes on but unit doesn'tI contact the technician it seem that I did not get any where .Please take my case in consideration."Our customer's cannot contact technician's directly so I contacted our Rockville store and asked them to set up customer for a service call, cost $184.00. The manufacturer recommends that fireplace units should be serviced once a year or at least every other to maintain warranty. We could only assume at that time the unit had collect dust and or cobwebs from not using over the summer and just needed a cleaning. Customer purchased a 2yr service contact for $260.00. Unfortunately at the time, we had a restricted schedule due to fireplace season and the overwhelming amount of service calls, 11-15-was the first available date.Upon inspection on 11-15-14, it was determined by technician that a section of the venting had come loose which needed to be resealed and raised the cap on outside to provide more effective venting. All of which was completed on 12-6-as well as cleaning glass and unit.I informed salesperson to contact customer and refund $which she processed on 12-17-14.If the customer needs any further assistance, they can contact me directly at ###-###-####.Thank you and I hope this will close the case.--

After reviewing the customers information and circumstances, Offenbachers will refund the delivery fee of $99.00 once the product has arrived and been delivered.
