*** *** came to the dealership on 6/to purchase a *** ***He stated it needed to be red in color. The vehicle that he saw online had been sold prior to his arrival. The day he was here we had purchased a off lease White *** *** We presented the vehicle to the
customer and he agreed to purchase the vehicleMR*** signed an order on that date and left a depositAfter considerable work and time we where unsuccessful in acquiring a loan for Mr*** on the terms needed to purchase the ***. On June the customer came in and stated that he wanted his deposit backI explained to Mr*** why we could not get him the terms he needed to purchase the *** ***We then had a conversation about what was important to him for the vehicleHe said it did not have to be a *** and that he really wanted a vehicle that was red in color with a leather interiorHe told me he was going to a retreat in VA for the weekend and would return to the dealership Mon or Tues to explore other vehiclesHe never came backHe left a message on Thursday 7/and I called him back, he stated that he was going to hold off on buying a car and asked for his deposit backI took his credit card info and told him it would be about hours before the refund would reflect on his accountThe refund was processed on 7/8/2017 and a copy of the refund receipt was emailed to Mr*** on the same day. *** ***Business Manager

Good Afternoon,
We understand the frustration Mrand Mrs*** are dealing with over the purchase of their *** *** and are extremely sorry that they did not have a good experience at our dealership. We, at Central Dodge Inc, of Raynham are always striving
to make our customers happy with their purchase and their visit to our Dealership a pleasant one. The oil change plan was processed on August 22, and provides them with six (6) oil changes good at any ***, ***, *** and *** dealership which can be used until August 21, 2019. There are no coupons issued, the dealer will be able to access the contract. The General Manager, *** ***,called and left a message at the *** home phone number asking them to please call him. He would like to further discuss and hopefully resolve the issues as noted in the complaint.

Mr. [redacted] brought in his 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, serial # [redacted], on May 17, 2016asking us to reset the oil life monitor. Eddie C[redacted], our service advisor, went to the car to reset themonitor. When attempting to reset the monitor Mr. C[redacted] engaged the vehicle and it jumped forwardover...

our curb stop. Upon inspection of the vehicle it was brought to Mr. [redacted]'s attention that thetower control arm bushings were worn out and the sway bar end links were worn out. These repairs arenormal for a Chevrolet Cobalt that is 9 years old with 114,600 mites. No physical damage occurred whenthe vehicle jumped the curb stop.In addition, this would not have occurred if Mr. [redacted] had not disconnected the clutch safety switch.Having this switch disconnected allows the car to be started while in gear without the clutch beingpressed and is a safety violation. The clutch safety switch should never be disconnected.Ms [redacted], we were doing Mr. [redacted] a courtesy resetting his oil life monitor at no charge. Nodamage occurred to his sway bar end links. Any issues that Mr. [redacted] is having at present will be re evaluated an no expense to him. The service advisor [redacted]  willcontact him and set up an appointment

Tire couponing and discounts are handled at the parts department. This informationwill be forwarded to the department manager for review .

Unfortunately I may have been irritated by the way the customer was talking to me, and getting multiple family members involved that created chaos. The vehicle was repaired in the time frame that was promised to the customer. We even stepped up and had the alternator covered under warranty because...

of the pending recall.This window condition is quite common in [redacted] models, it has no relation to the alternator failing. We diagnosed the condition at no charge and the customer declined repairs. When we took the door apart, there were signs of poor workmanship from a prior repair done elsewhere that could be the possible cause of the latch failure. The vehicle was towed in with no electrical power, the customers stated when they jumped the vehicle, they had sparks flying and there battery pack "got fried". It is possible the vehicle was possibly jump started incorrectly, we are not sure if that could have caused the window issue.As far as getting the recalls repaired, if this customer was loyal to our dealership, we would have advised her about the timing chain recall years ago. We cannot control how other dealerships advise customers.

thats not a problem they can finance thru there own bank,we offer it and 99% of the people use it because it is convenient and competitive.But there are certain things that need to be done like leave the car not in use as the happens which we have no control of.

The credit card deposit was refunded in full today. Thank you.

I do not wish to deal with this dealership at all.  I don't feel they are trustworthy and will not do the work that should have been done well before selling a pre-certified vehicle that is required from [redacted].   If they did, where's the paper trail for it????   As for the oil changes, no one EVER said anything that the oil changes are stored in the system at any dealership.  They gave the impression that we would receive a packet in the mail with coupons.  But shame on me for assuming, I should have made sure and asked how we go about the oil changes.  Plus, I am STILL waiting for [redacted] to respond to my email to her back in August???  She had no problem responding to you once a compliant went in for the dealership she works at.  Which, at this point, her email would mean nothing!!!!  [redacted] did call that day and left a message on our home phone but we work until 5 and do not get home until close to 6 and then with sports with our kids, getting dinner for kids etc its late BUT I will be in touch with him to hear what he has to say but at this point I really don't care.  He should have reached out to us if not after the first or the second issue definitely after the third, fourth or fifth!!!!  Again it takes a compliant to Revdex.com to have them reach out to us when he knew all along what has/had happened.  Unless, [redacted], did not fill him in on everything which I am sure [redacted] did but [redacted] could say that [redacted] didn't!!!
