Although testing locks is not part of a home inspection due to the necessity to replace the lock by the new owner ( who knows how many keys are out there? HUD require new locks on all exterior door to be installed by the new buyer )I would like to extend to my client the good will and gift him the cost of the new lock as a house warming gift.Had the client approached me directly this issue would have been resolved long time agoI learnt about the complaint by email ( at first I thought it was some kind of a virus scam and avoided opening it- only after receiving a phone call I read it )I would like my client to contact me directly at [redacted] to make arrangement for the money transferI would like to know who to make the check for and where to send it
