I hired Bruce C*** to install a new drivewayAside from garage doors he said he does driveways as wellImmediately after the work was done I noticed that the smooth edges on the side looked cracked, dirty and discolored compared to the rest of the drivewayBruce told me to wait months to let the concrete fully cureAfter months I contacted him to let him know the issue remainedHe said he contacted *** *** *** company to see if the concrete had been a bad batchHe claimed *** *** said the cracks and discoloration may be due to the nearby soil interaction with the concreteI have never heard of this before so I called *** *** myself at spoke to Will who is their quality control personI sent him pictures of the edges and he said it looks like "they let the concrete get away from themThat looks like burn in." certain areas with chemicals or otherwise. Still I wanted to help him with his problem so I asked an expert how to fix his situation. They said it would be with a light color seal, and the issue would be solved. He however wanted us to pay for the upgraded seal and we dont feel it is necessary.  We would still supply the labor if he would pay for the material. He has not responded saying he wouldnt, and this complaint is the first we have heard of his willingness to do so!

I am rejecting this response because: Bruce is right it has nothing to do with the garage business it has EVERYTHING to do with HIM and how he responds to customer's issues. His other Revdex.com complaints have the same issues; not responding to calls and taking multiple texts over the span of several days and/or weeks. Case in point, my last text to him asking him if the amount he quoted to fix the issue was discounted since I should not have to pay to correct his mistake, was on Thur June 1st. As of Tue Jun 6th, 5 days later, I received no response. Ironically, less than an hour after I submitted a Revdex.com complaint he responded to this complaint. Attached is a copy of the text messages between him and I regarding the issue going back to the beginning. Also, attached is a comparison of his work on my driveway verses my neighbors driveway, which is the example I showed him prior to the start his work on my driveway. My neighbors driveway was done by another company just a year before mine so, clearly the edges of my driveway are not right. This is not acceptable! No chemicals contaminated the soil because the yard isn't treated and the QC guy at [redacted] ruled this out. As you can see from the text thread he never said how he came up the amount of $450 until responding to this complaint. No labor costs and Bruce paying half of the V-Seal cost would resolve the issue for me.
