Review: I am being charged for a $50.00 missed appointment fee. I missed my appointment due to a personal medical issue. I had a friend call in to cancel but got no return call. I believe it is dishonest to charge people such a high fee for a missed appointment especially when there are unforeseen medical reasons that can arise. Second of all, I was not told of a no show fee nor did I receive an appointment reminder call as ALL other Dr. offices do. I feel this is an unreasonable act of business to gain funds. Nobody's paycheck is guaranteed on some unforeseen reasons so why should this practice be allowed to do such an act. My appointment was set 3rd party in example, bye my medical doctors office. Thank-you for any assistance on this matter because I am on a fixed income now due to a mva and any extra funds being spent is very hard on my son and I. Thank-you.Desired Settlement: I would like the fee to go away for me and I would like for this practice to stop charging this fee to people who may have unforeseen medical reasons that arise.
