Review: Came to repair a broken refrigeration unit. Destroyed the wall and base molding to get at the unit leaving a large hole in the wall and no base molding which was in pieces. Also destroyed the corner of the wall and a portion of the wall around the corner. Supposedly removed and replaced the old motor, though they never showed us the old removed motor, and said we should not turn the unit on for 24 hours because the compressor was "over heated". Insisted on cash, not telling us that he wanted cash only. Excessive prices charged. Initially insisted that he accompany my wife to an ATM for a cash withdrawl. Finally accepted a check. Upon arriving home and seeing the damage, I cancelled the check, called him and told him that I cancelled the check and would re-issue one less the cost of wall repairs and assuming that the unit functioned when turned on tomorrow and proof that the motor was replaced. Truly unprofessional job, tried to get away without responsibility by demanding cash, property damage, and insisting on delay in determining if the repairs were successful. The unit does not appear to have been taken out, which indicates that the motor may not have been replaced as they stated and charged, and they claim they took the old motor with them, but never showed it to us. Possible fraud. Total time here to do all the work that was claimed was 35 minutes. Unlikely to replace a motor and work on the condenser in that period of time.Total charge was $770.Desired Settlement: repair wall at their expense, assure working repair, modification of refrigeration repair at usual and customary pricing. Proof of replacement motor.
