Review: We signed a contract inApril to have a 36" high fence installed in our back yard, feet total and feet of privacy fence 6' high The work was completed in May of Three months later I contacted [redacted] asking him to take a look at how the double gate was installedThe left post of the gate is about 2" higher than the right gate post, and is about 3-1/2" higher than the corner post immediatly to its leftSo, the consecutive posts from the corner are: the corner post, the left gate post, and then the right gate postThe fence slopes up about 3-1/2" to the left gate post and then down 2" to the right gate postI noticed this when it was first installed, but I assumed when the grass began to grow it would not be as noticableAfter repeated requests...and several months, he informed me that he could not replace the post for no chargeI asked him to take a look at it and let me know if he thought it was installed correctlyHe replied he would take a lookI understand he has other commitments and would have to work it into his schedule, but nothing ever happenedIn November I contacted him again asking what was going on wiht this and to tell him that the privacy fence he installed was swaying in the windIt was installed so close to the house that when it moved, it rubs against the vinyl siding making a very loud squeaking soundAgain, he said he would take a look at itI told him I would be out of town, but if he came out to just take care of itI returned and nothing was doneI called again in Decenber and asked what the problem was and again he told me he was not going to replace the original fence postI asked about the privacy fence and he said he would be there by the end of the weekThe following Monday, I called again and he said he was not able to make it due to another job but he would get out on Thursday of that weekOnce again, I called the following Monday and got his voicemailI left a message asking when he would be out to fo the workHe has not answered any of my calls since thenI have been very understanding in this because I understand this is not a priority to him as he feels he is not getting any income from this, but enough is enough
We are a repeat customerI am not asking him to do anything he does not feel is warranted, but I cannot get him to even take a look at the fenceI told him I would work with him if he feels ithe post was installed properlyThe privacy fence on the other hand does need to be re-installed...it's falling over.Desired Settlement: I want him to do thingsLook at the fence post and tell me if it was installed properlyI feel the left post should be lowered by about 2"
Second, he needs to re-install the privacy fence so it does not sway in the wind and allow some space between the fence and house so they do not rub
