This is a follow up post from last week I was contacted by Jimmy,with Central Security group, after leaving message and he was more than helpful with my ongoing issue of cancellation and the problem was solved in a very satisfactory manner

This company is very hard to get rid of! I called last month to cancel after I sold my house, low and behold they bang me for another month, and keep me active for a house I don't even own, for another month Go with [redacted] or someone else!

Use the company - service is great, people are great No complaints

When presented with shady sales tactics from their dealer representatives, their only concern was can they hold me to the contractAnd on that, year contract with no option to pay a fee to exit earlyMust buy out the full contract

This is a follow up to a negative reviewI was contacted by ***, Social Media Specialist We agreed to work on resolution July billing will be refunded, a cancellation letter will be sent to me and I agreed to post status on Revdex.com site I will rate this experience neutral as resolution is in process

Do not sign with Central Security GroupI was a loyal customer for years and two homes, and now that I'm selling my home and moving in with a family member who already has a security system, they are still requiring to pay out the end of my contract (and likely pay a disconnect/cancellation fee on top of that)They offered to let me convince whoever buys my home to take the contract over, or to find someone who would be willing to install a system in their home and take over the contractThose were the only options to not have to pay out the nine months that will be left on my contractAbsolutely ridiculousCable/Satellite companies aren't that terrible, and they are nationally rated as the worst for service support

Central Security Group is an amazing companyThey go over and above for their customers to make sure that they do all they can to make sure we are taken care ofI really can't say it enough, they have been nothing but great to me

Recently after posting a negative review to Yelp regarding small print contract terms, I was contacted by Jimmy, a representative of CSGI told him about our negative experience with CSG after being long-term customersJimmy was very helpful and understanding of the situation and promptly worked to find a solution to our problemWe exchanged emails over a course of two weeks, each time Jimmy responded quickly and always with a positive attitudeWhile we are disappointed that we had to turn to social media to get our issue resolved, we are very thankful for the help we received from Jimmy and our resolutionI will rate the experience as neutral as an overall experience, if it weren't for Jimmy's help, it would have been negative

I am extremely happy with my service with Central Security Group They have gone over and above to help me out with all my security needs

This is the worst security company you could ever do business with Do not enter into a contract with themI tried to cancel because of non disclosure of fees if a police officer has to be called out to you house for an alarm that never occured Wife was at home when the alleged alarm happened She says the alarm never went off They are telling me that there is still months left on my contract and that I can't cancel without paying the final months Ridiculous company that has alarms when people are home and no alarms go off Customer service sucks DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CENTRAL SECURITY GROUP They are a bunch of thieves

Absolutely horrendous business model I signed a year contract in when I first bought my house I thought I was well past the maturing date of my contract when I bought a new house in I called to cancel the service and I was informed the contract automatically renews unless I tell them not to on my anniversary date If the sales person told me this when I signed up, I never would have connected the service Now, I have to pay a sum until my contract ends Terrible customer service which essentially told me "tough, deal with it, do you want to pay in full now?" I thought about connecting a system to my new house, but it will most definitely not be with the Central Security Group One of the single worst businesses I've ever dealt with

I signed up with CSG Secrity Alarm back in Feb of I recently moved out of my home in with someone else and called CSG in January of to cancel my services, which I really didn't activate to oftenI was told that I would have to put it in writing and I can email, fax are mail the cancellation letter back to the companyWell low and behold that's also when the CSR replied to me that I would still be responsible for paying out the rest of my contract because I signed a three year contractI explained to her that I was no longer going to be living at that address, and that I will be living with someone else, and why would I continue to pay for services that I will not be using? She said that I can transfer the account to someone else are I would have to continue to make payments until my contract is upI told the CSR that I have no one to transfer the account too and I'm not going to continue to pay for services that I'm not using Well since I signed for auto draft from my bank account they had access to draft the monthly payments anyway until I had to contact my bank to stop the debited draft paymentsCGS has been calling me for payment an telling me my account is so much $ past duei guess they are adding late fees to the amount because the amounts is not adding up for what they saying the amount I suppose to be past due for two monthsI tell them the same answer everytimeI feel that a company that makes thier custmoers happy can and will go a long way with success Happy customers Happy companyBut I see they are only all about getting paidThey have debited my money faithfully from my account for over two years and the minute a customer experience financial and personal problems they are heartless to your situation You know even if they could have work out a deal by maybe considering cutting the balance on the contract into half might have got them some money instead of no moneyBut no they want and expect you to pay it all in montly installmentsI do not recommend this Security Comapany to no one

I signed a 3-year contract back in June My monitoring fee was automatically charged to my credit card monthly I recently cancelled my contract with them and was informed that I owe them my monthly fee until June 2014, no exception Any other company that I have done business with always send out a reminder that your contract is being renewed for another year I was informed by the person I spoke with that I was suppose to remember that I had a yearly contract I was not happy to learn that I will have to continue to pay them the monthly charge for a service that they are not providing I have had no contact with them for the last couple of years I definitely would not recommend this company

Like every other reviewer on here my complaint involves my attempts to cancel their service I signed a contract in which stated a yr contract and option to renew for yr The sales person kindly circled yr, Nice What he should have circled is that the contract renews in perpetuity unless you cancel days before your anniversary date I stopped paying in Aug as my creidt card expired and I realized that I didn't use the service so chose not to renew I called They did not tell me I had to writeI called again in response to their postcards telling me to renew my credit card., THEN they told me to write I wroteThey called me and told me that if I can find someone else to take over the contract then the fees would be waived Why would I do that??? I just got a bill for $which is payment for the last months for which I did not use their monitor and the next months for which I will not use the service If the company contacts me about this, I will post here Otherwise, don't believe their responses of "amicable resolution"

To be honest I have been a guardian customer since about A few years later I upgraded beyond the wall panel and got a smart systemOver the years it has become more of an additction then anything else with adding new features as I go I decided to buy some cameras for my home so I could monitor my home while I am away with the main emphasis being on my dogsSuch a huge investment is always questionable but it all paid off in the long run when I was at workI checked in on my black lab and noticed something was wrong right away with the fact she was in the floor not moving and her older pug sister was staring at her strangely I immediately knew something was wrong and unable to take off work I had my parents rush to check on herThey found her barely breathing and her collar twisted so tight from her playing and snagging it on some furniture she was laying there with her tongue hanging outThey cut the collar off and comforted her and eventually she began to be her old self againI have no doubt she would not have survived much longer Thanks to the Camera system put in place to watch my babies when I am not home I was actually able to save one of themGuardian had nearly lost my business due to a miscommunication before this but there salesman Tony never took my anger over it personally and was very positiveHe came out and smiled even got me from mad to laughing as wellI had to think long and hard over if I wanted to continue with their service and am thankful I didTony has now become somewhat of a good friend as I communicate with him from time to time and even purchase upgrades as I goThe installer whos name was Matt was awesome tooHe really loved my dogs and it was hillarious to watch as when my black lab got out she ran to him and I saw him reaching under my dvr located close to the ground and she was right beside him as if helping him install it with her tail a waggingI called her away to stop her from getting in his way but he would just laugh and say it was ok as he would pet herI later heard good things about him about how he loves dogs so that made him ok in my books :-) On the occasion Guardian calls and ask how things are going and I could not be happierI love how they really are like one of the family now and would highly suggest anyone looking for a company to do their home security with that they call and speak to Tony and give him a fair chance to represent his companyI dont think anyone will ever be disappointed with the service he will provide

After a problem with an installer, CSG spent many hours working with myself and the installer to come to a satisfactory resolution for everyone. Jimmy in customer service worked very hard to bring things to a good place for me.

The alarm system I had installed was monitored by CSGI had to sign a year contract The first year and 1/was adequate The following year and 1/ had communication issues that were not resolved So I give up and have canceled my service with CSG

I recently changed monitoring servicesI contacted CSG before any changes were made in my businessI was told the amount for final payment and to send in all required documents to close the account months later I received an invoice for current monitor charges, I was then told that even though I had been with them over years that every year my contract did a yearly renewal and I had more months left on my contract I paid them off to be done with themPlease research who you do business withI will never refer this business to anybody [redacted]
