I came here to have a flat tire fixed, and they were able to get me in and fix the tireThey also told me I needed new tires, which I already knew, but I needed to wait a few more weeks to get themI ended up getting a great deal on tires somewhere else (that price matches plus 10% off) and they told me all the lugs nuts on one of my tires were damaged and had to be cut offI was charged to have the lug nuts cut off plus the cost of new lugs nutsThis happened to be the tire that was repaired at MelvinsI took the receipt showing I had the tire repaired there, plus the receipt from the place I got the tires along with damaged lug nut that wasn't useable but didn't need cut offI walked in to Melvins and calmy explained what happened, as I understand mistakes happen, and I was completely expecting to have to argue with them to get them to pay for the fees I had to pay due to the damage caused by one technicianI was shocked when they looked over the paperwork, apologized, and told me he would write me a checkI was really expecting them to deny it was them that did it and refuse to pay me any of the $in labor and parts but the manager (or owner, I'm not sure) apologized and wrote me a check while I waitedAccidents happen and people make mistakes, it's making it right that says something about a person and businessThis business did everything possible to make it better without me having to put up a fight, and because of that, I would go backHonest friendly service seems hard to find now days in this industry, so I would recommend them
