I cannot believe this company is allowed to stay in business On March 15, the United Verification Service called my elderly parents, identifying themselves as Central Federal Telecom Services and signed them up for long distance telephone services My parents do not make long distance phone calls on their land line and has a cell phone through T Mobile for any calls they make I found out about this today, February 27, which means my parents have paid months at $mo or $to this Central Telecom Long Distance Inc When I spoke to the Field Supervisor*** he said that my elderly parents would not receive any credit as my Mom had authorized the payment When I told him but the sales person introduced themselves as being from the Federal Telecom Company, he was Central Telecom and the actual sales people are United Verification, he said, "that's correct." They do not need to be praying on the elderly As their daughter who is taking over the financial arrangements for them, they will not!

telemarketing company practice slamming to get new customers I was called, told that my phone bill would change by $next month When I asked why, the caller became very agitated and told me that I did't need to know why or ask any questions if I was not paying the billThe caller did not identify herself or the company she represented Nor did she give me any contract or detail information about the proposed change to my phone bill
I get this call once about every months I was called from Ph # *** When I called back, I got a recording that identified Central Telecom and gave me *** to cal for service
Fortunately, I am not a victim of SLAMMING to date

I never changed my long distance from ***I even talked to *** and they said my long distance coverage is still through themI am savvy enough to check things out, but what about those who aren't and are now paying for long distance to a company that provides nothing except a bill and threats to report if not paidHow have these people not been put in jail yet?

THIS IS A SCAM I started receiving Invoices from Central Telecom informing me that *** had changed my Long Distance to be furnished through Central Telecom I contacted *** and they said no changes had been made and I should contact and REPORT Central Telecom When I contacted Central Telecom to inform them they were NOT my provider, the Agent attempted to tell me that they have a recording of someone from this telephone number making the change I am the only one that would have done that and I DID NOT I asked to hear the recording but after a few moments of her trying to pull up the recording, while explaining their great billing rates, she was unable due to technical issuesImagine That! This is a SCAM People who are not aware of this scam may just pay the invoice My year old daughter would haveOnce you Pay the Invoice, you are acknowledging they are your carrier

I cancelled this service however it continued to bill meI called my phone company and asked them to look into it and was given creditCentury Link took them off my bill and I received a confermation letter from Central Telecom stating I called and cancelled their serviceThe bills continued coming every monthI ask Century Link to help me with this and after review they put a block on my phoneNow they hold my credit hostage by sending me the bill with threats of reporting me for none paymentI will right them another check and hope it stopsThis started in Jancancelled 3/This bill is dated August Very Unhappy
