Dear [redacted] ***, We are have received the complaint from you regarding our patient referenced with ID [redacted] We have had multiple conversations with the patient regarding his concerns When he first called for pricing, the scheduler gave him a range of pricing stating that depending on his needs, the price could increase from therePricing is based on the type of contact lens that a patient needs and the manufacturerThere is no way to give an exact price and we go to great lengths to try to make that clear to all contact lens wearsWe could not adjust the pricing to his expectations We are very sorry that we have not been able to make him happy with his expectationsI have mailed his records to his address as requestedThis was the first request from him to receive his records I cannot send him a check for $We do not pay patients for their travel costs to and from the officeThe patient received no services or goods from our office on 1/23/Had we collected money from him and were not able to satisfy him we would have refunded him appropriately I am available to discuss this further as needed to resolve the concerns from either the Revdex.com or the patient Sincerely, [redacted]

This is a lieI spoke to a woman in billing about prices, not scheduling and she gave a definite price, not a range of prices
"This was the first request from him to receive his records."
This is a lieI had previously requested my records and did not receive them
I am owed $as that is what it cost me to travel to the appointmentCentral Texas Eye Center is not acting in good faith as they changed prices once I arrivedThey expected me to just take a screwing but I declinedThis borders on extortion.

I cannot send him a check for $80.40. We do not pay patients for their travel costs to and from the
office. The patient received no services or goods from our office on 1/23/2014. Had we collected money from him and were not able to satisfy him we would have refunded him appropriately.
I am available to discuss this further as needed to resolve the concerns from either the Revdex.com or the patient.
