Complaint Information: While we strongly feel that our tech is not responsible for the damage to Ms***'s floor in her kitchen, we will agree to pay $toward the replacement of the boards as a courtesyWe will not pay for the entire repair, as she has acknowledged, the floor was damaged prior to our tech coming out to her home for the repair on her refrigeratorWe feel that $is more than fair in this circumstance

I am rejecting this response because:
Your technician failed to take proper precautions to prevent damage to my flooringIf he knew that there weren't castors on the bottom of the refrigerator to aid movement, then he should have taken the proper measures to prevent damage such as placing a mat or protective device to ensure safetyThe technician had been at my home four timesEach time having moved the refrigerator away and back to the wall for a total of strokes leaving a series of multiple deep imprints imbedded in the flooring in front of the refrigerator in two locationsThere had been mild scratches prior to the technicians visits that I could have lived withNow the scratching is against the grain of the wood and is un- esthetically pleasingI would recommend a representative from C&E visit my home to visualize themselves rather being insensitive and dismissing my concernsI was told to use 'scratch remover' polish to rectify the issue when the appropriate corrective action is to replace several floor boardsI received an estimate of to replace the floorboards by the company who installed the flooring three years agoI am sure that if this were your floor you would feel the same
In addition, on 8.26.15, your technician told my family member that he would be out in a week to reassess my refrigerator for leaksWe never heard anything back from him and assumed that he would not return due to my logging a complaint
In closing, I am still experiencing complications with my refrigerator and had to call upon another company to come and repair itThere were more issues discoveredThe first thing the technician did prior to moving the refrigerator was placing a protective mat in front of the unit to prevent damageWhy didn't your technician know to do this when it is obvious that others do?

Complaint Information: I would like to begin by saying we received a letter in the mail today from the Revdex.com stating that we failed to respond to a complaint and that we needed to respond within calendar daysWe never received the initial complaint letter and the letter
received today was dated on 10-7-We are already late to respond to a complaint that we were not aware ofWe received a dispatch to service Ms***'s refrigerator from her extended warranty company on 7-27-and scheduled a tech to go out on 7-28-Based on the complaint, he preordered her a damper controlOnce at her home, he determined the unit had a sealed system leak and installed a dye drier He returned to the customer's home on 8-26-and checked for any refrigerant leakThe tech found the unit to not show any refrigerant leaks and the unit was cooling properly at this timeThe tech told the customer to call back if the issue returned, but there was no repair that was needed at this timeMs*** called into the office the following day to state that she had scratches on her hardwood floorAfter speaking with the tech, it was determined that the scratches were on the floor prior to any service done by usThis unit has non marking rollers and any scratches that were on the floor were done not by our service technician, but when the refrigerator was previously replaced by another companyWe will not be held responsible for damage done to a floor prior to our service
