I received the new letter in response to mine that Ms*** wants us to remove her from credit list without paymentThe letter also stated that we claimed she owed nothing and that she has never contacted by our officeWe have documentation that Ms***, our billing specialist spoke to her most recently on July at A message was left for her on 3-5-and also 1-8-I am also including in this email a list of all statements sent to Ms*** from our system which date stamps it when we send out a statement
What Ms*** is asking us to do is simply not something that we can doWe offer all our patients a payment plan if they cannot pay for services that are provided to themAs I mentioned before, patient care is of the utmost importance to usMs***'s claims are falseThe only solution I can propose is that we can write the bill down to $less than the $314.07, if she is having a financial hardshipThe remaining amount would be $This amount of $should be paid in full to the agency and we will discuss with them that she paid her bill and see what they can do to help herOtherwise she should pay the amount owed to us in full because there has been no negligence on our part

I received your letter in regards to *** ***Please see the letter attached that we sent to Ms***Not only did we send Ms*** a response to her statements, the billing specialist spoke with her in detail about her bill and gave a breakdown which I will also include in this
emailThe breakdown was not sent to her in letter form it was only discussed over the phone but the billing personnel are required to keep all information that is discussed with patients on the telephone
Before we send anyone to a collection agency, we call them times after they had been sent a statement for several monthsWe also try to make payment arrangements with the patient because our patients are our first priorityMs *** called several times and we told her that she had to pay her bill because they were more than months past dueShe was given the number to the collection agency recently when she decided to call back after she had received a notice from them
If Ms*** had called us to discuss an arrangement we would have preferred to do that instead of sending her account to the collection agencyWe see the collection agency as a last resort and would really prefer not to ever have to take those measuresHowever, we provided a service/services for the patient for which we should be compensatedWith that said, here is the documentation we sent her and also discussed with her on the telephoneWe feel that we have handled this situation fairly with the patient and gave her many opportunities to resolve the matter before it was sent to collections
