We won one of the products that they have out there on display the Rainmaker humidifier. After 4 days of use this product no longer works. They claim it is sold for $150. When you win the product they bring it to you and also demo a vacuum that uses the same kind of method. The vacuum is very expensive $2400+ and does not include many of the attachments which are an additional $1500+. I called the company to tell them that the product I won only worked for about 4 days and that we told them we had very hard water which I believe was the cause of the malfunction. I already had to clean it by soaking with vinegar for a day to remove the hardwater scale. She told me that the bowl has to be clean and the little spout on the top part of the machine has to be cleaned. I told her both was done and it still does not work. She said well that's a free product so what do you want us to do? I told her for a free product that is given to sell their vacuum which if very expensive and uses the same concept I feel the product is junk. I told her I would like to give the vacuum back because to have to pay for something that will probably fail because of the hardwater problem we have and the cost of this product it is not something that we want. I told her they were aware of the problem when we purchased the product and she said yes I was the one that said it would not be a problem with the hardwater but we cannot take the product back because it is over the 3 days since you signed for it. I told her we didn't even use the free product the first couple days and I was unaware of the 3 days for cancellation. I saw it on the contract with a 6 day thing regarding the transfer of the contract to the lender which would have been yesterday. She was very sarchastic and unwilling to listen to the real issues. This product is crap for those in the country that may have hardwater issues. For the cost it is not worth it and even with the 8 year warranty on the motor I feel this company will find some way to get out of that as well.
