I was discussing my plans with a few coworkers, when my manager told me that his wife's friend opened a thriving restaurant after receiving funds from CSBF. I was so excited to start my own business, that when I got home that day I got on the CSBF database to research what funds I was eligible for. Although it was time consuming, the applications were simple. I was not awarded funds for every program I applied for, but after a few weeks I received sufficient funds to start my business. I am so happy I finally was able to open my business. Today, the business is still going strong thanks to the fun
