I received [redacted] latest response and am not sure when she responded as her friend who was taking the apartment with her contacted me, pretending to be a paralegal from a law firm, and has since came in to pick up the $money order and paperwork that was left for them to pick upDue to the nature of this situation, and my having issues with [redacted] truthfulness in her responses, I will not proceed further with the Revdex.com on this matter, as it will not be rectified in this forumWe have a court date set with the landlord and I look forward to seeing [redacted] in court and resolving this matter in the legal system, where it belongs

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Centrury Miller and Miller regarding complaint ID ***, after *** *** stated it was agreed my deposit would be returned to meThis entire incident was completely senseless and unwarrantedMiller & Miller have not conducted themselves in a professional manner, instead they have disgraced the reputation of Century with dishonesty and pettinessAfter taking my deposit and renting the apartment to someone else and then refusing to return my deposit. I am sorry about the delay. I am moving. I never told [redacted] I wasn't taking the apartment. Along with my deposit I submitted documents to [redacted] as requested. Among the documents required, I had to request copies from the utility company and my job which I had to wait for. I called [redacted] on 0/**/14 to tell him I had received the balance of the paperwork he requested. After leaving several messages for him and his colleague. No one called me back. When I did speak to [redacted] he told me the apartment was already rented and I could not get my deposit back after telling me if I leave a deposit,  the apartment could not be shown. If I had notified [redacted] I wasn't taking the apartment why would he still have all my paperwork which are confidential documents that should unquestionable been returned and never ran my credit report? After requesting a $25 money order he never gave back as well. [redacted] rented the apartment after being in possession of my deposit and I would like a full refund of $525.00.

[redacted] left a $500.00 deposit payable to an apartment landlord on Sept. [redacted], 2014 when she and another person agreed to rent an apartment in [redacted]...

[redacted]. The $500.00 check was given to the landlord on September [redacted], 2014. [redacted] called me on September [redacted], 2014 to notify me that they were no longer renting the apartment. As they failed to comply with the rental agreement, the $500. was forfeited to the landlord. No monies from [redacted] went to Century 21 Miller & Miller Real Estate. I did speak to the landlord, who refused to refund the deposit as he lost rent and had to re-rent the apartment. As [redacted] is a co-op development and co-op board approval is required and typically takes at least 3 weeks, as [redacted] was to occupy by October [redacted], the next tenant will not be able to take occupancy on October [redacted], thereby causing the landlord lost rent.

Review: I left a deposit on an apartment shown to me by [redacted] rented the apartment to another tenant and refused to refund my deposit. I am completely disappointed in the unprofessional behavior I was shown and the way I was treated by a Century 21 [redacted] and would never do business again with this office under any circumstances.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund given the fact that the apartment was rented to someone else.
