We understand that her son, [redacted], the owner driver of the 4wd v8 powered truck experienced a breakdown when he found that his truck had been overheating. low on oil, leaking fluids, and boiled over while he was driving to work at his construction job.We understand its upsetting to face that and get a tow or attempt to drive on with a vehicle that is having a problem, in this case [redacted] decided to continue to drive without coolant in the engine and as a result the engine experienced catastrophic overheat to destruction and failed shortly thereafter requiring a tow by AAA. [redacted] authorized the replacement of the engine to commence on 04/**/17 and his father [redacted] made additional authorizations.We are sorry to hear that his mother [redacted] [redacted] is upset that she had to assist [redacted] with his issue. We also understand that recent changes to credit card processing requirements and the safety they afford consumers is not appreciated by [redacted] [redacted] as she alludes in her statement. We also understand that [redacted] [redacted] was not part of the approval process or discussions that her son & his father [redacted] had approved until after the v8 engine was already replaced and approved. We realize having a son who works long hours in construction near the city wants his work truck, and when it breaks down its not as expected, and he has bills to pay. We hope we can help and [redacted] [redacted] is seeking in addition to the aaa discount they have already received, more money off. Replacing a engine may be costly and this is something they are aware of. There is a warranty on all paid for services and this engine carries a 36 m onth warranty expressed by the manufacturer good at any authorized facility nationwide where they will authorize service prior to charges. The matter is being looked at and we will do what we can to get back to you shortly.
