I have experienced problems from the beginning. I moved into this apartment April 12th no one ever told me this was airb&b as well. I was told this was a residential building. One week after being here I moved out for construction for 3 weeks. I told Raquel the first two days of being here that my apartment was not move in ready and there were a lot of things needing to be addressed. She said they would be addressed immediately and it is July 5th and it still hasn't been done. After returning from construction my things were mishandled and some items damaged. First I was told one price of cleaning and compensation for my couch, chair and vase. Then another I have Raquel on tape both times but she still refuse to address the compensation. We agreed on $220 from our conversation however it took over a month for a giftcard which I don't agree with but it was $20 dollars short. Upon returning to my unit I have dealt with a sewer smell since May 15th. First the issue was being ignored by saying just run water down the drain then after I saw going down there wasnt getting me anywhere I started emailing and there has been delay after delay. No one should have to jump through hoops to get maintenance done especially when half of your apartment has been unlivable. After moving back in my apartment and rearranging it for the second time after construction in one month. When I was told none of my things wouldn't be moved or taking off the wall. I was asked to move to 16th floor May 17th. At first I thought yes because I was told they would move everything and I wouldn't have to do anything. Then Raquel said I would have to help and put my pictures back on the wall etc. I don't want to move again in that case. I just moved in. I asked to speak with ownership again because that wasnt what we discuss and I just wanted to stay here with some type of compensation because this is not what I signed up for. I never heard anything back from managment nor the owners. When I asked I was told to sign a disclosure but no one contacted me. No one told me this upfront. Its unfair and inconsiderate for not informing residents. I was told I could be let out of lease but no compensation there either. Moving is not cheap nor free. I've reached out to Lisa *** several times because Raquel is not responding to my issues and no response from her either. This is so unprofessional and makes me feel I am not important nor wanted here. Now I've been told no leases are being renewed and this whole experience has been stressful and very provocative. This has created a lot of anxiety for me that I didnt have before. I recently had a miscarriage and I think it's due to all this stress and uncertainty. To think I have to move again is just plain wrong because I am being forced out so Stay Alfred - corporate housing/vacation rentals/Airbnb can take over. Had I had this principal information beforehand I could have made a informed decision. I am not a mover. I have never experienced such turmoil with just wanting to live in peace.
