We apologize for any misunderstanding Once we received the returned unit back, we did check with [redacted] and verified that the serial number on the unit is for a [redacted] 50S We waived our 15% restocking fee as a courtesy Because this unit was verified to be exactly what you ordered, this return is considered a "buyers remorse" return We are not able to issue a reimbursement for shipping cost for buyers remorse returns

As per eBay policy there is a day return periodIn this case, that window had closed, which then opens the product up to warrantyIn this case, the warranty is through the manufacturer, which is why the customer was referred to Lowrance, this is stated directly under the title of the listing: “Lowrance Certified Refurbished Product w/ Day Warranty” As per policy, which has been approved by eBay, the customer is directed to the manufacturer for repair or replacement once they enter the warranty periodOften, shipping is not covered during warranty, which is also our personal policy if the warranty is through us directlyWe are not liable for shipping cost or issues that arise between the manufacturer and the customer

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: These people just don’t seem to get it, they do not understand the difference between doing the right thing and not doing anythingThe only reason [redacted] ruled in their favor originally is because of standard operating procedure, so when a package says “delivered” by the [redacted] they do this automaticallyUpon further inspection [redacted] clearly sided on my behalf refunding the money in full and putting this company under the magnifying glass for possible fraud and unlawful practicesThe fact that this company fails to understand that unforeseen circumstances in business are a part of doing business and refuses to take any accountability is the problemAll that I have heard from them is that they seemingly do not want to take any responsibility for their products, shipping methods or their customer care, which is quite appalling unacceptable by any measureFurthermore this company stating as a fact that the package was stolen from my property is nothing but mere conjecture and speculation on their behalfMaybe the package was never sent, or they shipped the wrong item, or maybe they have an ongoing scam? I don’t know, it could be either scenario? But I won’t speculate like they doThe bottom line is this company chooses to wash their hands of all responsibility as soon as the item in question leaves their sight This kind of irresponsible and questionable business ethics, if not calculated and integrated systematic business fraud, to downright incompetence should not be tolerated as an acceptable behavior for business practices anywhereAt this point I am done with these people justifying, allotting circumstance and assigning blame to everyone but themselvesWhen a problem arises they should take care of the problem, but that requires problem solvers and resolute individuals not scammers and cheatersI have also filed an internet crime police report and reported the company’s dubious activities to ***I feel that although I should do so much more, at this point I am done dealing with this company the mere dollars or the used Samsung Chromebook are not the issue or important to meA quick replacement or a refund would have sufficed but at this point all I want is this company to stop taking advantage of others like they did to me Sincerely,

This order was purchased on 4/29/The customer contacted us on 6/30/stating the unit was having issuesAs per eBay policy, the unit was then outside of the day return period through our companyThe customer was directed to the Manufacturer Lowrance for the advertised day warrantyThe buyer claims that Lowrance wants to have him pay additional fees for a new unit, and we are unable to provide funding for that as it is no longer in our jurisdictionThe buyer was informed that we would take the unit back if he returned it to us, but he refused stating the manufacturer would not send his unit back to himThe root of the problem is between the customer and Lowrance, as we have fulfilled all the necessary requirements of this transaction
