I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, let it be known that I sent Mr [redacted] several emails (to his Century 21 email address) and this is the first I am hearing from him. It's a shame I had to go this far to get them to stop.

distress:  [redacted] does not want me to defend myself, so I will not defend myself to her. However, to anyone reading about this complaint I have the following defense. I do not remember getting any email correspondence asking to be removed from an automatic search that she requested me to set up for her.  This search was set up to send a new email anytime a new home or price change happened in the criteria she wanted in reference to finding a new home in Madison, WI. This could generate several emails a day depending on the market. [redacted] only supplied a phone number of 999-999-9999 which made verbal communication impossible.  Every email that is sent out has all my contact information including my phone number and meets all email solicitation requirements including an unsubscribe function.  After, receiving the complaint from the Revdex.com, I checked the status of her search and she had successfully unsubscribed from all further emails.  She would now have to request to be put back on the list and I could never add her again without hew written consent. This defense is in no way a slander of [redacted] or to discredit anything she shared in her complaint. [redacted]

Review: The owner did not inform us that the prospective buyers were also her client. When they became her client we do not know. She tried to get us to accept a very low offer from these buyers. She had had our home listed for only 1 month and wanted us to accept this offer. As time went on after we accepted the offer, she did not get paperwork to us when we had asked for it. Weather she informed the title company of this, we do not know. She was to get this to us on a friday, did not receive it till monday. I had to miss work to get the papers signed. She had also taken the prospective byers in my house without a phone call to verify it was ok to do this. I would have told her no as we had not had all our items out and I had some very personal papers out n the counter where anyone could have read them. She had no problem doing this.All she said was she had no legal right to tell me. No ethics with this ownerDesired Settlement: I think after all the problems , we should receive a discount from what we paid her. 5% of purchase price, 230,000. She had it on the market for only 1-1 and half months.
