MOLD, they are refusing to take care of this issue at all let alone correctly. Living with my father in law and he works in mold mediation with [redacted]. He attests that they are not taking care of the issue correctly and is very upset and physically sick as well as me. were experiencing constant migranes, respritory issues. They have sent out a very inexperienced maintenence man [redacted]. He said he has a limit of 200.00 to work with and has to walk out the door as soon as he has hit that limit. He told us there were no leaks, which we thought was odd because the drywall became wet on the exterior, also sapping out mold. My father in laws bathroom tile spread out from behind the walls mold traveled all over his tiles. The man [redacted] sent out bleached these clay tiles. He obviously did not know his tiles because he most likely ruined them with the bleach he scrubbed all over them. Our master bathroom has been condemned for weeks now. After begging [redacted] for weeks to send out a second opinion, or let out father give them an estimate to mediate the mold, she sent out two olumbers. These guys found a leak that has consistantly been dripping for 8 + months now. which is why guest bath became to crawling with mold. now it has infested we have wall cut open and airing out. they had a construction fan in my bathroom for two and a half weeks before plumber came and expect us to pay for the electric to run this fan that was supposed to be "drying out the walls" and behind bathroom tiles. They refuse to compensate for out bathroom being condemned for three plus weeks now, seeing the plumbers sealed up the shower after cutting a hole in wall where leak was. the chaulking shrunk up and we still cant shower in there. They refuse compensation this is her response ([redacted]):she basically said that if we were the owners we wouldn't expect ourselfs to cover others electric etc. she is not giving us her managers information when we ask, weve had to beg for it. They have not taken care of us or this house at all and expect us to be happy with 4 of us sharing one toilet and shower. so we line up to use the toilet and shower. They want to move us out of our room and have us live in the living room until it is completely fixed, which were going on a month now of of them doing restorations. Seein as you can smell the mold even in the living room we constantly have our hoouse open and airing our, its cold but we deall with it. they also refse to compensate for them leaving my bath window open for three weeks now, whenever out heat kicks on it goes out the window, but us and our animals get cold in the odd hours of the night. They do not care about their tennants, they have made this very clear. unfortunately they are also hurting the owner of the home by wrecking the value. As well as not helping tennants want to stay here. and we take care of this house as if it were our own. I will never rent or do any buisness with century 21 again because they have no cus[redacted]er service, or empathy for situations they put their tennants in. Its very sad and unfortunate that if you have them leasing out a home for you make sure u give the renters your phone number so you can keep in touch on what is going on with the house that century 21 is not taking care of, this is highly suggested and I hope the owner of this house goes with a different leasing agent, because they (century 21) wanted to seal up the shower tile and call it a day, even telling us that there were no leaks and that the walls would dry out on their own. So sad that a what you think would be a reputable company would do this type of thing.
