*** *** picked his vehicle up on February At that time we did not know anything had happened to the clients vehicleWhen the client returned with his spouse *** they indicated we had damaged the rear of the vehicleWe went
outside to inspect the vehicle and found a molding was crackedWe had no clue how it would have gotten damaged at our location*** indicated that he was no blaming us but the vehicle was not broken before, and said he would take our word if we really did not do itI came back inside with *** and we looked every where that might have caused the damageWe looked at the garage opener and did not see anything but we guessed it could possibly done damage if the vehicle was in the airWe told the client we could look into finding a used part to replace itThey said that would be okayWhen *** came to our location I was out of the countyIt's apparent that *** did not like that my staff can not make financial decisions when I am out of pocketTo date we have been unable to locate a GOOD used rear molding because that piece on Explorers of that year have hundreds of complaints due to it breaking from multiple causes and one of those is COLD weatherIt is possible that that piece was cracked or cracked by weatherThe web site we used was *** because we were unable to locate a used partThis vehicle is a with 152,miles and its impossible for us to know for a FACT we broke the molding
I will be happy to purchase a a new molding but they will have to find a way to install the molding and if it should need painting that expense will be the responsibility of *** and *** ***I will also make that purchase from my suppliers
This offer is not admission of fault it is to help the ***'s with the expense of the repairNo one knows how it happened including the owner, therefor this is all we are willing to offer

First of all there is damage to more than the piece referred to as the molding and the so called molding is scratched all the way across as well as crackedIf there is still a question of how the damage was caused lets put the vehicle in the shop and see if the door hit itWhen Jenny returned to the shop she was there because it had been over a week and we had been told parts were ordered then told they couldn't locate a partI have recorded at that visit, David saying parts were ordered then Tony saying they were not but he could order them in two secondsHmmmm, something is fishy hereMy vehicle was not damaged before it entered the shopI had it there to be fixed, I paid my bill for the work doneThis business is not a body shopI want my vehicle fixed by a reputable body shop of my choosingAs I have stated before I will gladly file a claim against D & C with their insurance company and they can investigate faultMy offer is the only fair offer, pay me the estimated amount for repairs or give me your insurance informationI will not settle this claim until one of these two fair things are doneMy vehicle was damaged by D & C's shop door and it should be repaired and inspected by only a real body shopThis damaged is not as described by D & CI would be glad to send picturesAny reputable business would settle this as I have explained

I am sorry that this client feels the need to continue this complaintWe will only purchase the part for the client under good faithDC Auto N Truck does not accept responsibility for the damage to this vehicleShould the client want DC Auto N Truck to purchase the cracked part on the back of the vehicle we are still willing to do thatHowever we will purchase it from our supplier only and it could be a used part that is not cracked

I am sorry this business has decided not to do the right thing, the honest thing also the legal liability requirements of the lawI will not drop this claim and I do hold DC Auto and Truck responsible for the damages to my vehicleI would also like for you to ask *** what he said to me as I was leaving your business the day this occurredI'll tell you what he said, he said that he left the back of the explorer open and raised it up and someone opened the shop door and he could even see a spot that looked like it hit something on the doorI have pictures and audio recordings of all conversations with DC Auto and TruckThese will be posted to Facebook if anyone is interested in the truth hereAlso a copy of my invoice with comparison prices from O'reily's on all parts will be postedYou will see this business charged me percent over retail on all partsOn the audio you will here my wife question *** and Tony about this*** responds with yes this is how a business works come back with a business degree and we'll talkI would like to inform *** that my wife has a BS and is graduating in May with her Master's degreeI would also like *** to think about how he would feel if someone talked to his wife in this manner...remember this is HOW I FEELThis case will never be dropped until you DC Auto and Truck pay me for the damages to my vehicle which occurred while it was in your careWe will go to small claims court if neededAnd every little detail from this rotten, deceitful and down right dirty business dealing will be available for everyone to seeI really can't believe that you as a business will not take responsibility for your actionsI am still willing to put the vehicle on the lift and see exactly how this happened as *** explained to meBy the way, there is much more damage than just the piece that you are offering to replaceBuyer Beware...Stay away from this business
