I am launching this complaint due to the fact, that my apartment complex has not yet addressed or handled the on going issue of a excessive water bill. We have lived here for no more than 6 months and have never received a water less than $150. We have asked the apartments and we still have not received or gotten any answers about the water in 4 months. Our highest water bill was $250 and we feel as if something isn't being done or processed right. My grandmother who lives in a 2100 square foot house never receives a water higher than $80 and she also runs her sprinklers.
Billing Adjustment I would like answers as to why i have not received a normal bill and i would like for the rest of my lease to pay a fair water bill. Maybe in the long run receive compensation for what we over paid for in water.
Thank you for the opportunity to address your concern. New ownership and management acquired this community in November of 2019. Provided water billing occurs in arrears, some of the water bills you have received occurred when the apartment community was managed by the prior management company.
We are working with the water company, as well as, our third-party billing provider to research what could have caused the issue you are experiencing.
We received one work order regarding water issues for your apartment which our records indicate has been completed. We will continue to monitor this issue and are willing to conduct a subsequent evaluation if necessary, to address any concerns.
