Do NOT trust this business! The owner was inspecting my freezer behind the panel, then asked me for a flashlight While I was gone, it gave him time to sabotage(disconnected the defroster plugs) my freezerAfter clearing an ice blockage, he said it might be ok for a little while but would probably get bad againAt that point I would need a new part for a few hundred dollarsObviously the problem came back I decided to inspect my freezer components and noticed that all(6) the defroster plugs had been disconnectedIt created a huge ice block in the back of the freezer where the coils areAfter I plugged them back in and removed the ice block that he created, my frig worked fineGuess who called to see how things were going?

In response to the complaint from *** ***
our customer, American Home Shield had sent us out to her houseIf she had
been dissatisfied, she should've informed American Home Shield, and have them
send another contractorHowever, we got Mrs*** a new unit, and after the
unit failed,
we've repaired it at our own expenseMrs*** was aware that
she would be paying $out of pocket, after our first callWe later
waived $75.00, leaving a balance of $owed to Century Air Conditioning
This complaint is a blatant attempt to get out of paying a justified debt

Regards,
*** *** I have read *** *** response to my complaint of the many weeks it took to repair my air conditioner and then charge me when we had verbally agreed the account was closed. In his letter he did not respond to the complaint of how long it took (over TWO AND A HALF MONTHS) to get my air conditioning working, nor to our verbal agreement to 'write off' the cost ($250) of the additional freonI agreed to that when I was told the conditioner would be repaired within a week, but it become negotiable when the repair time turned in to months, which we did negotiate. He also did not address the issue of apparent "lost" freon by his employee ***Nor did he address his numerous broken promises of "I will have it done today/tomorrow".Also, I DID call American Home ShieldTWICE…waiting on hold for up to minutes, and was told to stay with Century Air since they had started the project and that I could file a complaint after the job was done.In regard to replacing the faulty airconditioner at his "own expense", I am stunned that any honest business man would imply that it would be OK to install faulty equipment and then charge a customer to replace it. I remain firm in my belief that Century Air and *** *** in particular did NOT operate business in an honest, industry setting standard and that my account with him was closed with no more payment due as of the day my air conditioner was FINALLY working
Thank you for your help

On September 7, we had our technician go to the customer's house todiagnose his A/C unitHe let the customer know that there was a very badclogged drain lineBefore we go any further in servicing all warranty companyorders, we have a contract agreement that states if we have to work on
acustomer's unit that we ALWAYS have to call the Warranty Companiesauthorization department to give a diagnosis and find out if the customer's plancovers the work we are performing and if so, we AlWAYS get an authorization#.On the other hand, if the customer's plan does not include the diagnosis then allthe technicians get a verbal denial from the warranty company over the phone. The only way we would ever take any payment from the customer is if they agreeto pay out of pocket to get the job done. The homeowner (customer) has a service fee of $which is stated on theservice work orderOn the day of September 7, the technician went throughthe protocal and procedures with the warranty company and told the homeownerthe that the warranty company denied the claim but he would be happy to fix hisA/C with a charge that would be paid to Century Air ConditioningBefore hestarted to fix the problem, the technician made sure to get permission from thehomeowner to complete the job in agreement that there would be a 30-daywarranty with Century Air Conditioning if there were any other problems with thedrain lineHe also told the customer to give him a call personally and he would behappy to come back and make sure the drain lines are not clogged up again dueto severely clogged drain lines. The technician used Ccartridges with a gallo gun to clear out the primarycondensation drain lineHe also found that the run capacitor was bad and had tobe replaced as wellThis took him a little over a hour of labor time to doThehomeowner called the after hours office phone on September 15, andstated the A/C was having the same issue two days after the technician went outthere so he called the A/C company that originally installed the unit and they hadto clear the drain lines out as well with Cagain and was requesting a refund.Due to not knowing the situation the office told the homeowner that she wouldinvestigate and call him back. After looking into the situation, the office came to agreement that thehomeowner never contacted our office or the technician to honor the 30-daywarranty he agreed to and signed on the original invoiceTherefore we cannotgive him a refund

While I was gone, it gave him time to sabotage(disconnected the defroster plugs) my freezer. After clearing an ice blockage, he said it might be ok for a little while but would probably get bad again. At that point I would need a new part for a few hundred dollars.
Obviously the problem came back. I decided to inspect my freezer components and noticed that all(6) the defroster plugs had been disconnected. It created a huge ice block in the back of the freezer where the coils are. After I plugged them back in and removed the ice block that he created, my frig worked fine.
Guess who called to see how things were going?
