I am responding to the your letter dated April 10, in reference to case ID# ***. I personally spoke to the complainant on April 15, and have resolved this complaint directly with our customer. I apologized that his request for documents has not been processed and assured
him it would be as soon as possible. All documents will be sent to him within days, including the consent for transport signed by the minor patient’s mother. We also discussed his bill, which he paid in full on April 10, 2015. I further explained that we did file a claim with his insurance company. They applied it to his deductible and reported $as the patient’s responsibility. We have no way to force the transferring hospital to pay any or part of the bill. I hope this information is helpful.
