Review: Immediately after purchasing a 2009 [redacted] Freestyle it began having issues. Just a few days after buying it repeatedly died on the freeway and wouldnt allow more than a few gallons of gas in the tank. I took it in and they said the mechanic knew about the fuel issue but failed to mention it. They said they'd fix both problems and were doing me a favor because theres no warranty. They gave me a loaner car (which also died in a mall parking lot) and since then the car has had many issues like the alarm continually going off until it dies and not starting. They covered the cost of replacing the remote (which the lock guy said was the problem but it still malfunctions after being fixed) again saying its favor. After fixing the engine problem and the gas problem they told me and my fiance that if it had more problems just bring it in and they'll only charge for parts. I was so thrilled by what I thought was compassion, kindness and genuine humanity I even went to starbucks and bought the guy a coffee. After having it since December and a number of issues I still have no plates and no registration although I did receive a notice of renewal due in may. This morning my car wouldn't start so both my fiance and I called and were told by two different staff to take it in. I called my insurance arranged for a tow called to let them know it would be towed there and once it got there they refused it and kept telling me the owner doesnt want it there and wants nothing more to do with it. Finally after a lot of calls headaches and hassle they told us to have it towed to their mechanic and we will be responsible for the cost. We tried to explain what we were told and they kept telling us to call back every hour for some [redacted] guy who would help us one way or another but he seems to have stepped out just before we called every time. Ive had to pay for the partial tow and will be missing work for who knows how long because I was under the impression I could depend on them for help.Desired Settlement: First I want to know why they never fixed problems they were aware of and sold me the car anyway. Then I want to know what other issues they know about and why they went from being so helpful to all of a sudden refusing to. Then I want all those problems fixed or equal replacement and I want my plates and registration which I'm sure must have been included in the price. I have a child who requires extra care and need my vehicle to get her back and forth for assessments etc, two other children in school and I work one job in north county and a second job throughout SD county all of this was explained to them when I first had problems with the car. I feel like they put my family and my jobs (which I need in order to support my family) at risk knowingly and are hoping to skirt fault by now refusing to do what they were initially so keen to do. I feel really misled and I really dont think I'm being unreasonable. I thought they were good people who just wanted to help other people.
