We have been requesting for things to be fixed since March with little response.
Back in March, my fiance and I purchased a Wade Jurney home. During the process, they were bought out by Century Complete. Shortly after move in, we had some things that needed fixed and we were in contact with our builder, Brad ***, about these things. He came by on 4/2 and fixed a few small things and promised to have the rest taken care of at a later date. COVID locked everything down shortly after this, and we didn't hear from Brad. We assumed it was because of COVID. On 5/15 our AC broke for the second time since we moved into the house. We tried calling the emergency number that we were given and it was out of service. We tried emailing, calling, and texting Brad, but got no answer. We finally filed a warranty claim and luckily, got it fixed the next day. At this time, we found out Brad was no longer with the company.
On 5/19, I reached out on the websites customer service chat to find out our new contact to replace Brad and to try and get new, working emergency numbers. We were not given new numbers, and the email given was not in service (our email got kicked back). We ended up filing a claim to get the list of things taken care of. As of 5/28, we had received no response. One of our neighbors gave us Alena Chapman's contact information. I emailed and asked about our warranty claim and a question about the flooring used in our home. Alena promised to check on the floor vendor, said she just got into the warranty system and was a couple weeks behind, and gave us new emergency numbers. I checked in with Alena on 6/5 about the floor vendor, because I hadn't heard back.
By 6/25, I still had no response to the floor question or our warranty claim. I emailed Alena and asked for her supervisors contact info. I suddenly got both an email and phone call (which I couldn't answer) within an hour. I emailed back offering to resend the list of what needed fixed so she could get started, because I didn't have time to call back during business hours that week. I got no response. I called on 7/6 and left a message. As of today, 7/17, I still have received no call, email, or resolution to my warranty. I emailed today asking again for a supervisor's contact info. This has been going on for 4 months.

Desired Outcome

I need the company to take care of all the issues promptly, or we will explore other actions.

Contacted the business regarding our one year home warranty and was told that our issues aren't warranted.
I purchased a home in Sunset View Estates from what was formerly known as Wade Jurney Homes, now Century Complete, on 12/31/19.

Before closing in December 2019, we asked Chad Robinson, the project manager, to note that our backyard needed excavated because it wasn't leveled. We could see that any rain would drain right towards our home. The project manager assured us that when the contracted landscaping company came to lay the sod in the spring, they would excavate and level out the backyard towards the field behind us.

In April 2020, the contracted landscaping company excavated our backyard. We didn't see any issues, they actually did a great job! A few days later, after it had rained, we realized our backyard was completely flooded. We have videos of actual streams running all over the property. It's not draining towards the field like the project manager said it would after the excavating was completed. In May 2020, I called and spoke to a man claiming to be a Regional Manager in Indianapolis. He advised me to file a claim so there was a paper trail. I filed the claim. I then called the contracted landscaping company and spoke to the owner, Steve, who agreed that our lawn needed re-excavated. Unfortunately, he couldn't do anything until Century Complete/Wade Jurney paid him outstanding AR and a warranty claim was filed.

I have filed two warranty claims for the same issue, made roughly 30 phone calls over the last six weeks to the Indianapolis division AND tried reaching their corporate office before finally getting a response this evening.

I received a call back from Morey D. with Wade Jurney Homes and he informed me that before occupancy, our yard was excavated/graded according to municipality code. When I informed him that was incorrect/impossible, we have pictures of the dirt piles in DECEMBER, Morey then stated that our town came out after the excavating was done and it was up to municipality code. I have been working from home since March because of the pandemic, that was a flat out lie! NO ONE has been out to inspect our property. Morey D advised that they provide a "starter yard" and since supposedly it's up to "code" they will not cover this under warranty, even though their own landscaping contractor advised it needed to be done to keep our property from flooding!

Desired Outcome

I want Century Complete/Wade *** to have the landscaping company come redo the excavating in the back yard. A flooded yard with streams running through it is NOT the "starter yard" promised in our contract.

Been waiting 8-9 weeks for them to return my deposit that I put down on a house in Perry Iowa
They returned the first 95.00 quickly within 2 weeks the second portion of 405.00 I am still waiting on . It's been Since the middle of April when my loan was denied and we signed the forms to cancel. I have been in touch with the local sales agent Mary I have also been in touch with Paul Mary's boss the district manager but still no check . I left another voice mail for Paul last week and sent Mary a email haven't heard nothing back . I keep asking when was it mailed or when will it be mailed I get no answer? I have nothing left to do but ask for help with this situation.

I want my refund check of $405.00 ASAP. And want someone to let me know when it was mailed .

This was solved and I received my refund check today 7/2. They let me pick up the check so it didn't take a few more days in mail .
