I highly recommend The Garage Door Depot Our Story: When our year old Lift Master garage door opener broke; on December 1, I had a company install a Marantec garage door opener When the Marantec did not function properly the installer said they would arrive to fix it; but they never did, and they kept telling me they were too busy with other work and to keep phoning to see when they could come out at some future dateI discovered on the Revdex.com site that the company had an F rating and was not a member I decided to remove the Marantec and have a Lift Master garage door opener installed I checked the Lift Master site for a reputable installer and followed up by checking the Revdex.com site to discover The Garage Door Depot has an A+ rating with no complaints Next I phoned The Garage Door Depot and Jayson was extremely patient in answering my many questions Jayson stated that he would email the information about a Lift Master that might suit my needs He promptly did so and I booked an appointment for the installationOn Monday, January 19, the Marantec was removed and the Lift Master installedJayson arrived on time, our garage was clean of any items used in the installation and he stayed until I felt confident that all parts of the system, (lights, emergency cord, keyless entry etc.) were working properly Jayson was very professional on the phone, in person and during my inquires via email As I have an older vehicle it was necessary for me to purchase a homelink repeater kit Jayson gave me all of the homelink repeater information via email and on Tuesday, January 20, when I went to the Garage Door Depot showroom to pick up the repeater, I had the opportunity to meet the owners I am sure that my garage door opener is a very small part of their business This being said, I always felt that my business and my satisfaction with my garage door opener was important to them I was encouraged to phone or email any concerns that I may in the future My experience with The Garage Door Depot was extremely positive
Please make sure that you choice the right The Garage Door Depot, there is another one that call themselves "The Garage Door"- slight difference in name but both are complete opposite
The Garge Door Depot gave me a firm quote for the spring repairHe used the stock number on the original broken spring and after he completed the job, he realized that the spring will not do the job and he reinstalled a heavier guageThe price was the sameThe price is also reasonable
He did all the checks and ajustments on the garage door opener
As someone with no experience with home maintenance, I highly appreciated the quote including easily understood documentation, good pictures and opportunity to pose any question I wanted to askThe sales rep even fixed my existing door until it could be replaces even without a commited sale
The appointments were met, work completed as required, no mess left by a neat, clean and polite installerPrice was comparable with other companies
