Unfair debt collection practicesAccount information left taped to my houseNasty calls and threats Bad vehicle sold verified by mechanic Before I purchased the car. I asked was the car in a flood or accident. [redacted] said no. After I purchased this vehicle, I took it back the next day. It was not driving correctly. He refused to take the car back. It was less than 24 hours. The previous day I came into pay off another account that was transferred. [redacted] assured me he would allow me to pay off my first vehicle and not merge the two accounts. After he realized I did not want the car. He refused to allow me to payoff the first car. He also would not take the bad car back. Then merged the two accounts. Therefore, holding a car that was paid for all except one payment. In which I was willing to pay the same day. I tried to finance the car at my bank. I found out the car was in accident. [redacted] said the car was never in an accident. When I asked him about this he became rude and hung up in my face. I called him back and told him that was not necessary.I am a teacher. I explained to them I do not get paid during the summer. I make my payments around the 3** monthly. A payment was taken without my permission. I was told it was a mistake and credit would be applied to my account. The account got off track somewhat because a check was present to my bank without permission. The person said her name was [redacted].The car was in an accident and the insurance refused to pay. I was told by the insurance agent the car was bad because someone glued the top on radiant causing the radiator to overheat and mess up the engine. I did not have any work done to the car before the accident. I called [redacted] and told him. The insurance issued a check for 1000 for outside repairs only. [redacted] took the entire check placed it on the principal and still made me make the monthly payment. I was not given any money back for repairs. Please help me this wrong. They call and text every month about payments. I pay them. Today, someone came by house and taped a letter to my house my child found and read. Saying I owe 800.00 dollars and they are unable to reach me. I have proof I made a payment on May 02, 2016 and I spoke to Jeannette on April 29th. This is not right for them to come to my home and I am paying them monthly and talking to them every two weeks. Please advise. I paid 4000.00 for repairs the insurance would not make and they have given me any money or made any adjustments. The car is bad and I should not be made to pay for something I return in a time fashion within the guidelines of the law.Desired SettlementI would like to freed from paying this account and reimbursed for the money I spent on a bad car that was sold intentionally to me. I asked if the car was ever wrecked it was not revealed.[redacted] said no. I even had their mechanic look at it again. He claimed the car was fine.
