Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This product was a Christmas gift to my son, and consequently I do not have the receiptIn all honesty, due to the length of time the receipt would probably not have been legible due to the ink fade on older receipts anywayThere response was fraudulent also in the fact that they stated that the wording of the receipt was not really what it meant, and that is outright consumer fraud What the words say, they say and once again there is no ambiguity in the wording on my warranty brochure I believe we did send in the warranty card to them on this bag when he received it, but they were unable to tell me if they still possessed it, to confirm that we actually had the bag, and probably due to the length of time they do not Since I do not possess the receipt they are not willing to make good on the warranty, which conveniently if I had the receipt then it seems the warranty would be valid and they would replace the bag as a one time courtesyI am now going to send this complaint to the State of Oklahoma Attorney Generals Office Consumer Fraud Division because I feel that Century Martial Arts is committing fraud when they explicitly state on the warranty that: if it ever wears out they will repair of replace it free of charge and that it is guaranteed for lifeCentury Martial Arts states that what those words mean is 5-years on the product and it's not guaranteed for the life of the owner anyway I think they will be hard pressed to get anybody to believe that is what they meant to say on their lifetime warranty. Now, this issue becomes a matter of making companies live up to what they promise us as consumers, and hopefully the Oklahoma Attorney Generals office will be of some assistance to us as consumers It is now no longer about replacing the bag which had a lifetime warranty, it is about living up to their promises and making them follow the law Sincerely, [redacted]

Mr***,
If you provide the original purchase receipt/invoice, we will replace the defective part as a one time courtesy, due to the confusion around the lifetime guaranty

anyway. There response was fraudulent also in the fact that they stated that the wording of the receipt was not really what it meant, and that is outright consumer fraud.  What the words say, they say and once again there is no ambiguity in the wording on my warranty brochure.  I believe we did send in the warranty card to them on this bag when he received it, but they were unable to tell me if they still possessed it, to confirm that we actually had the bag, and probably due to the length of time they do not.  Since I do not possess the receipt they are not willing to make good on the warranty, which conveniently if I had the receipt then it seems the warranty would be valid and they would replace the bag as a one time courtesy. I am now going to send this complaint to the State of Oklahoma Attorney Generals Office Consumer Fraud Division because I feel that Century Martial Arts is committing fraud when they explicitly state on the warranty that: if it ever wears out they will repair of replace it free of charge and that it is guaranteed for life. Century Martial Arts states that what those words mean is 5-6 years on the product and it's not guaranteed for the life of the owner anyway.  I think they will be hard pressed to get anybody to believe that is what they meant to say on their lifetime warranty. Now, this issue becomes a matter of making companies live up to what they promise us as consumers, and hopefully the Oklahoma Attorney Generals office will be of some assistance to us as consumers.  It is now no longer about replacing the bag which had a lifetime warranty, it is about living up to their promises and making them follow the law.
